Agreed - time to put this to bed, but for one last time - the brakes are absolutely fine and won't need replacing for the forseeable future!!h8cak wrote:loomx wrote:I thought I would just chip in for the sake of it.
IMO Copperhead has come across ok to me and pretty much the rest of the posters in this thread have come across as arogant twats.
I dont know how much less he offered because the brakes were scored, but its fair to ask for the price to be knocked down a bit.
As for other people saying "well there okay, because they are all like that" is just ignorant (If there was a problem with the brakes failing completely and it was an issue with alot of cars that required getting fix, would you just say, its okay, they all do that?
If your trying to sell a car as one of the best examples around, it should be that.
He shouldnt have to deal with replacing the brakes unless this is represented in the price (The scoring should only be his problem if it wasnt there when he bought the car.)
IMO Pippy and Copperhead seem like they are both entitled to their opinions and nothing more should happen. But the rest of you have come across as playground bullies who wanted to jump in and bully the "newbie" because it contested something against the "popular kid"
Wanted RS4 Avant or saloon .

I have had allsorts of Bulls**t problems with people on another forum saying my car is not worth x,y and z and what people should buy instead, when all you want is a clear shot/chance of appealing to a buyer without them being put off before they have even had a chance to consider it in their own mind. But to be fair it works both ways.
If I had to make a choice I would say its best not to let people 'reply' to adverts. That's my 2 peneth!
