Does the guide tell you what settings for Stock, 98 Ron, cold weather, hot weather, use for track only etc?

there is instructions with it, with general guidance to the settings yes.

You will of course need to have a REVO remap to use this.

Yes, I've got a re-map. I use an SPS1. I suppose my question is: what adavantages and disadvantages does the SPS3 have over the SPS1?

okay...

here goes.. from my understanding SPS1 has performance and stock modes. Performance, somewhere in the middle sort of settings... not highest, not lowest..., probably matched to the fuel you use most often.

SPS3 gives you :

Stock mode

Lowboost range 0 thru to 9.
9 being "standard chipped" 0 being valet or girlfriend mode

highboost range 0 thru to 9

Timing range 0 thru to 9

anything above 5 in high boost and timing requires premium fuel ie optimax or better and or additives such as millers. Thats revos reccomendation.

you also have security option

select security on, and no one will be able to drive your baby away without use of your or another SPS switch.

so sps 3 allows you to adapt boost to your liking, and also adjust timing to match your fuel on the day and get the most performance gain from it.

you can also turn it down in summer where heat might sap power and you might be better running a lower state of tune, and tweak it up in winter where you have lovely cold damp days.

how do you find the re-map? any flat spots? i'm thinking of getting it done to my S4, but need some feedback first!!
