--> Wanted -- Replacement Exhaust Flexi

Post by Stigter » Thu Jun 12, 2008 6:33 pm

I need to replace the flexi's on a set of RS4 downpipes, anyone know where to get replacements to weld in and the dimensions

Any help much appreciated.

Try CES (Central Exhaust Supplies) in Liverpool. I did manage to buy a decent quality flexi from them a few years ago, but when I wanted some 65mm clamps the other day they were absolutely useless.. and unhelpful.

There was once an exhaust specialist near the docks in Birkenhead, you could try them. I forget the name but it was one of the known brands like jetex or similar.

I got mine off of ebay. Bar steward to weld though. Wasn't listed in the right size but one email later and the geezer sorted me out.

Welding them in not the problem. Its just sourcing a suitable set of flexi. I am after 60mm (internal dia) x 120mm (total length).
I ordered a set of 60mm flexi which will fit, just that there ilock design was restrictive across the joint - reduced in diameter (if that make sense) so not wanting to use them.
