Front and Rear B7 Brake Set Up Spares or Repair
No rear discs, no rear pads
Included:
N/S/F Caliper (damaged)
O/S/F Caliper (benefit from a refurb)
Front discs (well worn, bells can be reused)
N/S/R & O/S/R calipers (benefit from a refurb)
Front passenger side (UK car) Caliper problem. During a refurb the bleed nipple was drilled and unfortunately went at a slight angle and went through to the bolt hole, hence will leak oil. Decision at the time was to replace both with a new set to get me back on the road.
I’m not sure if this can be suitably repaired. The drivers side Caliper is ok but would obviously recommend a refurb if everything (front and rear).
Front discs are very well used and have been sitting for a while. I can’t really measure the thickness as the measuring calipers have a smooth edge and will pick up the lip and give a false measurement in comparison with the disc face. Including as the bells can be reused and are good for Reyland disc upgrades, etc .
Rear calipers where replaced with new at the same time new discs where replaced (I usually replace anything worn at the time as want the car running as mechanically perfect as possible at all times). Also hi let and less garage time to replace, rather than wait to be returned from a refurb.
£350 plus postage (heavy)
