I may be putting the stock system back onto my B8 & putting the Capristo up for sale. I'm curious to see if anyone is actually interested however.

Ok, so the Cap is officially for sale as of today (unless I sell the B8 in the next 2-3 weeks with it fitted. The unit was sold to me for £2,850.00. I'd like to get £2000.00 for it. Ideally we can meet at the workshop in Surrey that fitted it & do a swap. That way I can get my old stock system fitted on by them also.

A couple of people have messaged me asking if it is boomy at all. It's not at all boomy, unless you're driving the car with the valves open & trying to be a taxi driver (eg keeping revs low, then it can be a little bit boomy, but nothing bad - I'm being too honest here!)

It transformed the sound of my car against the stock system, it can be subtle when you want or loud if you give it beans. If anyone has any questions or is interested, please let me know.

Just to add, Capristo advertise their 'remote control' system for their systems. The system for the B8 doesn't require this at all, it's all as per a stock or Milltek system, only it sounds better.

Are you advertising the car too Smudge?

I will in time yes... Possibly with the system in place, not sure yet.
