It's coming off the car this week having served me proud for the last 9 months.
The sound is amazing I really can't put into words how good it is. Only selling as it's pretty much drowned out by my exhaust now, and I'm looking for absolute maximum power so an going back to a standard airbox with MRC filter.
It's in overall good condition - one of the holes used to secure it to the front of the grille area is damaged (approx 3mm split) but it's not seen when fitted. I have fitted DEI reflectagold tape to the underside of the intake to attempt to reduce the intake temps/heatsoak a little. Can't say if it ever helped, but certainly didn't harm!
It has the latest (and much improved) revolution pipercross filter fitted without any issues. This has been on the car less than 3k miles.
Will come with red hose as shown.
Close up pics to follow as the car is at MRC at the moment and not with me. Intake will be available from Monday 9th for postage or collection (from St Neots area / Cambridge/Bedford way).
I honestly have no idea how much this is worth when pre-loved so I'll say £350 but make me an offer and I might say yes

wow I must have under priced this as woke to an inbox and a half :p
I yesterday agreed for first refusal to TAB1S (only because he was first to message me) - but as I explained I can't get it off the car/in the post etc until Monday as my car is at MRC at the moment and I'm not.
If anything should happen and TAB1S pull out for whatever reason, I'll repost here so you guys know.
Thanks for the interest
Ross

Why do you think you loose power with pipecross on?

Because of the additional hot air (direct from the drivers side exhaust manifold 3" below the revolution intake) that gets drawn in. The bottom of the revolution/gruppe M intakes are completely open - allowing all that hot air in. The standard airbox is a sealed unit, drawing air only from the front and inner wing area of the car, unless the flap is open at which point your forward speed is enough to defeat the hot air rising from the manifold as so much air is pushed in from the front of the car.

Hi Ross.
I'm Robert,i would like to ask what was the real problem with the gruppe m air intake system.
I would like to give more air to my rs4 b7 motor.
I use now the standard system with kn air filter.
Can you write me your opnion about- with this gruppe m anything would be little bit better,i thinking about air flow how coming into the motor. - or just give me more power and sounds?
thx

Hi Robert.
There's some other threads discussing the gruppe M intake (and similar intakes) - it might be worth you searching for those. I'm not qualified to give you an exact answer, only my findings and experience. There is some talk of the gruppe m intake giving more power. I did not find this. In fact, it resulted in less power. Only a few hp, but still less.
It did sound amazing though, and it looks nice.
