I thought the general consensus on this mod was that it reduced power, but most have them for the induction noise. Perhaps I am wrong?

Or we'd all have them. 5-8bhp out of our engines is massive!

Lol...bhp is insignificant but not a loss of power.

Some companies like to diss products they can't get a hold of...but all is fair in love and war

i was sceptical when i bought mine from revolution,

however the noise (standard exhaust) was awesome

i have done logs and also noticed no difference in an incrase or decrease in performance , i do have a massive cold air feed tho

for the noise and carbon alone its worth it

Thanks, I have been interested in this for a while but was put off by the issues with the oiled filter causing issue with the MAF, if I remember correctly.

By the way, I just spent the last hour reading your build thread - nice one.

Thanks, I have been interested in this for a while but was put off by the issues with the oiled filter causing issue with the MAF, if I remember correctly.

By the way, I just spent the last hour reading your build thread - nice one.

The new type filter doesnt have these issues with the MAF, I've had mine on for about 1,000 miles without an issue

And even if it did lose 5 to 8 bhp are you really going to notice the difference between 405 bhp and 400 bhp?
