Revolution Intake for B7 RS4 SOLD!! SOLD!!

Post by wrekka » Mon Jul 07, 2014 8:09 pm

Been on car for 5K

Full working condition.

Doug at MRC says it is an oiled filter cone.

Comes with everything you see in the picture.

The sound from these really is ferocious! I will miss it!

Hi

I'm interested in this item, where are you in the uk? What is the postage?
Is the front bumper an easy job?

Cheers.

Hi there
I am in Preston, Lancashire.
Postage is about £20 due to size of box and value of item.
I have never fitted one but apparently is straight forward. You can fit without removing the bumper.

I can confirm that they sound immense and can be fitted with bumper in place. Getting the standard air box out is a faff, made easier by loosening the headlight for an extra 1/4" clearance.

Are you selling this with the standard 'elephant trunk' hose or the silicone one in the top picture?

wrekka , how did it sound with the supercharger ? , surely it made the whine much louder than with the std airbox , mine's also charged and did think of one of these , but the whine is loud enough as it is on mine so I havnt done it , on N/A they sound fantastic like a full on race car :-)
Phantom black saloon ,PES M112 Supercharged 520ps/595nm K&N filter, 100 cell milltek cats, res valved milltek system. 8 and 10mm H&R spacers.H&R roll bars, "smoke chrome " alloy refurb. JHM Quickshifter, Bilstein B16 coilovers , uprated diff mount ,50/50 devils own WM kit so 1.4 litres/min in intake approx 10% more power and torque
1/4 mile 12.01 secs 123.5mph

The TTS supercharger sadly has zero whine! Even with this fitted you can not hear any whining. But the induction noise was as you say like a race car
