Possibly braking audi rs6 c5 2003.

Post by mikeyD » Thu Dec 12, 2013 4:21 pm

Hi guys I am possibly braking my audi rs6 c5 saloon. Due to gearbox and powersteering fault.
a little about the car dark blue in colour with lotus white interior bilstein coiloverkit engine is spot on just had a service.
Very clean car and in good condition unfortunately it is going to cost a small fortune to fix which I am just not in a position to do. Bassicly I would like to see what I could sell from the car before deciding 100% to braking the car as I dont want to be left with 90% of it. Gearbox wont be avaliable unless for refurbishment. So just let me know what you are after and I will make a decision by sunday evening thanks

Just keep it until you have the disposable, breaking a car is aggro especially one of these. Most owners will buy new parts unless they need something big like the engine and then if you do somehow sell that your left with a shell with 3 million sensors, lights, alloys, suspension, brakes, interior ect.... All of which will take an age to sell just keep it or if you really can't sell it 'as is'

Although having said all that I'll have the silver intake pipes if you do decide to break it lol

Besides the fact I am up for new front brakes I'd prefer mikeyD perseveres and keeps his RS6 for the forseeable future. Its rare to get a car that makes you smile that much whenever your in it..

To be honest lads it brakes my hart if I need to pull this car to bits I tried to sell it as a whole git offerd £3500 but I know it get more in parts as I have been braking Japanese cars for a few years. But as a few have said the rs6 is one of the best cars I have ever owned had a few subarus evos skylins m3s ect and this car every time I drive it I smile and the noise is to die for its going to cost around 4k to fix if I do the work myself which just isn't a option right now.

If I could sell some of the bigger stuff ie brakes engine coilovers I would split. But dont want to sell a bumper and be left for month's with a car I can no longer drive.
