B8 RS4 full brake set up - anyone interested..?

Post by Revolution » Thu Nov 20, 2014 8:29 pm

Just putting the feelers out as considering an upgrade for my std brake set up..

Ive got a few options in mind of just upgrading the front set up or going for a front and rear brake kit which will leave me with a couple of options for sale.

Front RS4 8-piston calipers, 365mm wavy discs and pads etc (full set up)
Only done 5,000 miles but had a slight issue with the discs so last week I had new discs and pads fitted so they are brand spanking new..!

Rear calipers, wavy discs and pads etc..

We can either post these or fit the whole set up for an interested buyer.

Anyone know what these would be worth...?

£2,300 for fronts and £2800 for the front and rear kit fitted or delivered sound fair..?

Thoughts...

Few options on the list:
Front 380mm Ceramics
Front Tarox 400mm brake kit
Front and rear C7 RS6 400mm kit

Or maybe stick with original calipers and develop a big disc
conversion for the front.

Depends on interest

For a guide price, you can pick up a brand new front setup for around £1600 delivered here, which is where I bought mine and I can confirm that they are genuine parts. Sorry :?

I'd be interested in the rears if you decide to shift them though.

Do you happen to know if the pads and discs work with a non wavy equipped rotors on a B8 RS5? If yes I would be interested in having the discs and pads depending on price.

Cheers for input.

That's an amazing site you've found, full of oddballs...

Noticed sold out and no more available...but they were damn cheap!

Leave feelers out and see if I get anymore interest.

Yes agree, wavy brakes will fit yours fine!
