Hello. Just sold my RS Focus. Would like an estate RS6, sub 100k. Plenty of bills and service history and suspension done etc. Im in a real rush, ideally pick up today (!) Im in Oxfordshire. Have cash and am enthusiast private buyer - used to have a B5 RS4. Andy@spellmanproductions.com

£8,900 ONO - Bargain! No DRC, Hotchkins etc... You could probably get it for £8.5k. You'd be crazy not to buy this.

Does look good. Cat D isnt major is it, usually financial - assume they tried to get the Sat Nav out though...

Oh, didn't spot it was cat D. Got RS246 minamised on my work computer juggling it with work.

Anyone know of this car?

My boss sits about 2 feet from me but it is not that bad as the brunette lass on the desk opposite has a nice set of DD's which i can glance at now and again.

A Category C or D write-off is one that insurers consider unecomonical to repair but one that could, given enough time in the workshop, be repaired and returned to the road.

Category A and B should never be returned to the road. A Category B write off is one that is so badly damaged it can only be used for the salvaging of spare parts, while a Category A is one that is sent to the crusher and NO parts salvaged

Thanks for info on Categories. Have a couple of nice examples to look at, so should be part of the Rs6 Massive soon - word up etc. Its not the fuel that worries me, I used to run an F150, its just the cost if anything goes wrong. Im not a big fan of selling my own organs and I suspect I wouldn't have many enthusiastic buyers for them anyway...So good service history seems to be essential.
My B5 RS4 was costly to run, with sensors going regularly and i was told a 6 was lots more money for similar issues. But on the flip side they do represent very good value for money to buy, so I guess that gives a balance.
