Well for all those that missed Daves RS4 Avant, good news, i'm now no longer working from home so petrol cost is back to being a big consideration.

Mine almost the same specs as Dave other than mines got Recaro comfort seats, a new Milltech resonated valved exhaust with chrome tips and a MRC/ITG air filter.

55,700 miles from new, service history with Audi other than one which was done the supplying dealer ( Neil) when i brought the car in August, but it was done using Audi parts with bills supplied. serviced by Cambridge Audi at 16,000 and 32,000 miles then by suppling dealer at 49,000 miles, just checked by Audi Tonbridge @ 55,453 miles , brake fulid charged and DRC repairs carried out.

Come's with a transferable full value of the car warranty covering all parts until August 2012.

Extras include arm rest, cd changer in glove box, carbon trim, Sat Nav

As some of you will know its just had a Audi Tonbridge inspection, which came up with the fact it was due a brake fulid change and needed 2 new front DRC units, that's all, other than a squeaky rear wiper.

Audi UK paid the £3000 for the front DRC units, valves and pipes, I paid for the brake fulid change.

Brought the car from Neil here on the forum, he fitted a new Milltech exhaust bill for £1664 and new front discs and pads and MRC airfilter.

The cars been great but now i need a diesel again

Asking £22,800 which a good price considering whats beens spent on it recently. No worries about DRC for a while !

Just paid for a years road tax @ £460 and MOT to 8th August 2012

The colour and seats combination make this the most useable and sort after set up for the owner that wants to take adult rear passengers regulary.

All bills and old mots etc , 2 keys etc come with the car, as well as a full sized spare RS4 19" wheel and a 19" steel space saver.

May consider XC90 D5 cash either way.

Price reduced to £22,000 or pex for a Diesel 4X4 up to £25K

You might be disappointed with the "true" mpg of an XC90 diesel... one of the guys at work has one, struggles to get 30mpg on a longish commute. With a little light footing I can manage that with the RS4

I would buy this now if it had flat bottom steering wheel and bucket seats. Shame.

You can easily change the wheel. Seats are a bit harder, but make sure you really want the buckets - they make a 4/5 seater more like a 2 + 2

Agreed - each to their own, and I've been on the fence for 5 years!

The reason i brought this was the comfort seats, I tried a car with buckets, totally impractical and bloody uncomfortable for me on a day to day basis. Could not see the point of a 2+2 estate car.

Just buy a BMW Z3M coupe.

Anyway, just to tempt you some more the price is now £20500 as I have sold my Clio V6 so I want to go shopping for a new toy.

buckets look cool but you wouldn't want to spend 2-3 hours a day in them, agony ...

Hey Steve , I havent been on here for a while due to tinkering with my TT as you know. Sad to see you are selling up already , still miss that car Anyway all the best for your new Volvo.
