After giving it much thought I'm thinking of selling my RS4 avant so here goes:

I have agreed a part exchange deal with Audi. Car will be traded in on Sat 23rd July. I have reduced the price on my autotrader advert to £25,995, but I'll put my cards on the table for any forum members who are interested. £25,000 is the bottom line, if anyone is seriously interested at this price please let me know. I can't take any offers less than this and the deal would have to be done by Friday the 22nd.

Audi RS4 Avant (56), Sprint Blue, 35,000 miles, Full Audi Service History, Bucket Seats, Flat Bottom Steering Wheel, RNS-E Sat Nav, Adaptive Bi-Xenon Lights, Rain Sensing Wipers, Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror, 6 Disc Changer.

Car is in Exceptionally Good Condition. Front Discs and Pads replaced 2,000 miles ago (£1,400), Full Audi Service History - Has been Serviced Anually since new as opposed to Variable Servicing. Currently Showing 6,500 miles until next Service.

I bought the vehicle on 22nd December 2010 as an Approved Used Audi, and as such the car will be supplied with the remainder (6 months) of Audi Approved Warranty which is fully transferrable to the new owner. The new owner will also be able to extend the warranty if required.

Absoulutely any inspection welcome, If you are looking for an RS4 Avant in this colour and spec I am confident that you will not find a better example.

£28,995 ono NEW PRICE £26,750 Final Reduction before trading in £25,000. Serious price drop for anyone who is keen. I really don't want to P/X it back to the dealer with 6 months warranty remaining and such recent Discs / Pads etc.

Why are you selling up?

Thanks for all the positive comments guys. Love the car to bits but the main reason that I'm selling is lack of use. I also have a jetski which I use most weekends. I couldn't bring myself to fit a towbar to the RS4 (Just wouldn't seem right!!) so ended up buying a 9 year old Landrover Freelander to use when towing. I do a 120 mile round trip in the freelander on weekends (leaving the RS4 sat on the drive ). It seems more sensible to sell the RS4 and the Freelander and end up buying something along the lines of a Q7 - or even an A4/A6 avant, although I'm sure I'll end up regretting it a few months down the line!!

That is cheap!! Somebody could buy it now and sell it for the same price several months later I think.

Cheers, guys. I've priced it at £26,750 as that's preety close to the best I've been offered to p/x at present. Hopefully, somebody will get a good buy, and I'll be in a better position to negotiate a better deal on the next car!!

Don't take this the wrong way, but you've reduced the price so many times, people might now be tempted to wait and see if you take it any lower - especially as you have posted the date your new car arrives. You are probably better off just posting the px price. Make it clear you want £500 or a grand mimimum, and that you will need a sizable deposit (1 or 2k).
