For sale is my Daytona Grey RS4, pictures on Pistonheads

First registered on 27/10/2006, having covered a total of only 78,100 miles.

MOT until 30th Jan 2026, all 5 past MOTs have been first time clean passes. It comes with an extensive service history folder, Audi handbooks, two sets of keys and a comprehensive stack of invoices from work carried out. All accessories still present – toolkit/triangle/tyre compressor etc.

Still a bit unsure on selling, however, I hardly use it as have two other vehicles. It is always garaged on a battery conditioner.

Factory extras include:
Tech pack - cornering lights, 6 disc CD player (disconnected), Sat Nav (see below), dimming rear view mirror
The all important “wing-backed” seats

Modifications include:
Milltek valved exhaust with black tips and resonated centre section (non-resonated centre section also included)
Apple carplay/Android auto (Kenwood DMX7017DABS doubleDIN and DRV-N520 dash cam), with the original Audi satnav included.
KW adjustable coilovers replacing the great but unreliable original DRC
Flat bottomed Audi steering wheel with all buttons working as normal (original multifunction steering wheel included).

Service/maintenance work under my ownership has been at a Nottingham RS specialist and has included:
Service Jan 25 at 77900 miles
New windscreen March 24 due to a crack
Service Jan 24 @ 76926 miles
Service Jan 23 @ 75327 miles
Service and new rocker cover gasket Feb 22 @ 74413 miles
Oil cooler and lines June 21 @72906 miles

Between Nov 2020 and when I bought it in May 21 the car had £10k worth of work/receipts, which was why I bought it in the first place (owner was on RS246.com):
2021 - fresh spark plugs, new fuel and air filters, a new clutch and flywheel, eight new injectors, eight new coil packs, an air-conditioning service, suspension refresh using the complete Meyle HD kit, KW coilover suspension with subsequent geometry set up at Wheels in Motion, alloys refurbished and coated with Gtechniq C5 wheel armour. New Michellin PS4 tyres (thus only about 5000 miles old) and new TPMS sensors.
It also went through a three-day paint correction and enhancement detail by Max Protect, and the Daytona Grey paintwork is still in excellent condition all round. The only imperfections are some minor stone chips on the front as to be expected, bar one small one on the offside wheel arch that is more noticeable at certain angles.
2020 - All brake discs and pads were renewed with Brembo front and Pagid rear brake discs, complete with Ferodo DS2500 brake pads, braided brake lines, walnut de-coke and intake de-flap, gearbox and diff oil change.

Prior 2020 service history:
23/07/19 - 69515 - Bath Audi (Longlife Engine Oil/filter, Air filter, Spark plugs)
31/07/18 - 64006 - Bath Audi (Engine Oil/filter)
29/09/16 - 52010 - Wimbledon Audi (Longlife Oil/filter, Inspection, Brake fluid, Air Con service)
29/04/15 - 44835 - Wimbledon Audi (spark plugs)
19/01/15 - 44444 - Wimbledon Audi (Longlife Oil/filter, dust & pollen filter element)
20/05/13 - 39859 - Wimbledon Audi (Longlife Oil/filter, dust & pollen filter element)
11/11/11 - 27805 - Wimbledon Audi (Longlife Oil/filter)
19/09/10 - 20880 - Wimbledon Audi (Longlife Oil filter, dust & pollen filter element)
28/10/08 - 12035 - Guildford Audi (Longlife Oil filter, dust & pollen filter element)

In view of the cars excellent condition, appreciating value, and the fact every major expensive weak spot has been addressed I’m looking for around £22k. Please feel free to get in contact to discuss, and if I’m way off the mark will consider lower offers. Happy for any inspection.

Well....

The cars been for sale for a week and no messages.

I'm assuming I'm being ambitious on pricing, so reduced to 20k.

If still no interest I'll just keep I think!

The B7 market is the worst it has been for a long time sadly. I've probs lost about £5-6k on mine from the price I paid just after covid. Same for B8's as well, lots are even lower than B7 prices which is crazy the amount of car you are getting for the money.
There also seems to be a lot of people that are keen to jump in a beaten up one on 130k miles for 14 grand, rather than pay that bit extra and get into a good one like yours.
I wouldn't drop any lower than £20k if it was me, hang onto it.
But yeah as the other poster said, get some pics up.

Hi all,

Annoyingly, on actually cleaning the car properly I have found that the near-side front wheel arch at the rear had some bubbling in the paint from corrosion!

Bloody hell.

I've pulled the advert on pistonheads as don't want to incorrectly sell the car as perfect, when it plainly isn't. Everything mechanically is perfect thankfully.

I'm in a quandary! I love the car, but don't want to sell cheap, and also want a change - the problem with too many cars to try!

Anyway, the point of this post was just to say I've pulled the advert on pistonheads whilst I decide what to do .

Thanks for any comments so far. Appreciated.

Jaimie

Sorry, I've just logged back into the site.

My car is not advertised anywhere, and still debating keeping as enjoying driving it in the sunshine, but feel free to message and we can discuss. I'll try and message you.
