FOR SALE ** PRICE REDUCTION **

My very rare coloured Deep Green Pearl Audi RS4 (B7) Avant is for sale. First registered in March 2007 it has 75.5k miles, MOT till end of June 2025. Having had 3 Former Owners, this RS4 is in fantastic condition as it sits with me now and wants for nothing. I have owned this car since January 2022 and have corrected all the faults that it had when I purchased it, Its had all 4 DRC pipes re-newed along with all the clips, new Audi Oil cooler and Oil Cooler Pipes, 2 new rear springs were fitted due to one on the nearside was broken. All 4 brake calipers were refurbished, gearbox oil changed, rear Diff oil changed, fuel filter changed, front ARB drop links changed, brake fluid changed, all the above work was carried out by Dialynx in February of 2022. 4 new Michelin PS4S`s fitted in Sept of 2022, all tyres still have 6.0mm to 6.5mm tread left on them. New battery fitted in June 2023. It has had the latest re-call fix for the passenger airbag completed by Bristol Audi recently. The Audi technician complemented on the condition of the car when he worked on it. All 4 wheels are in perfect condition and are unkerbed. New Discs and pads were fitted in 2021 by the dealer I bought it from. It has the fabulous Wing-Back seats (Heated) in black and the flat-bottomed steering wheel too. This is one of the best B7 RS4`s out there, it wants for nothing and runs like clock-work. It is in stunning condition for the year and will not disappoint.

Any reason the OEM door blades have been swapped out for the protruding non-sport B6/B7 ones?

I didnt even realise theyre not the correct ones, and no idea why, it was all done before my ownership.

That’s pretty obvious

It’s a common fail point and genuine replacements are not available anymore

Not really. It's a common fail point yes but I've never seen different model ones fitted to an RS4 before.
Most either buy a better condition set second hand, or take the car to any half decent body Shop who can cut out the expanding foam alongside any rust, and recondition.

It was the first thing that caught my eye when I saw the ad. Any purist wouldn't want those fitted and it otherwise looks very much like a purist example.

It really doesnt bother me one bit, i just enjoyed the car for what it was and hope others do too. I couldnt get so upset or anal over some door blades. The car still drives perfect

Sorry what are the door blades? What’s wrong with them?

Anyone know this cars history? Was it owned by a member prior to the current owner?

The trims at the bottom exterior of all the doors, they are not standard, taken from another model. Check against photo's of other B7'S

They are Audi B7 door blades, there is nothing wrong with them, the car still drives and performs as it should.

I don't think anyone is suggesting that the car is going to perform or drive any differently with different door blades fitted.

More the point that they aren't original RS4 B7 door blades, and that if someone is going to drop 27 grand on an RS4, they'd probably want original ones fitted. I know I would.

And if you cant get hold of them now, what happens then? Anyway it doesnt detract from anything, its a stunning beautifulcar whatever your thoughts.

I must admit nice car, just a bit too much on the price and take those door blades off as a start.
