2014 (‘14’ plate)
Sepang blue, black leather.
65,000 miles
Carbon interior, sunroof, Sat Nav, CD player, MMI etc, Dog net
Full Audi service history (Audi approved used car).
Car has Original 20” 10-spoke wheels and also a set of 19” 5-spoke Audi winter wheels and tyres (which were bought from another member on here a few years ago!)
MOT due to be completed next week and will have the warranty extended for a year on 16th March.

Not in a rush to sell the car, as the replacement won’t be here for a few months, but thought I’d place a post on here to see if there was any interest - will consider webuyanycar.com and motorway.co.uk, but thought that with the warranty etc it might suit a private buyer.

Offers around £26.5k - looks good value compared to the trade prices on Pistonheads!

Just a thought, if you are going for the Audi extended warranty I don't think it is transferable.

Didn’t find out for sure about transferability, but I did find this:

‘If Audi Extended Warranty cover does not meet your requirements or should you decide to cancel it for any reason within a period of 14 days, you can obtain a full refund of the premium paid without charge, subject to no claims having been paid.
The 14 day period begins on the day you receive your copy of the Cover Booklet and Confirmation of Cover. After the 14 day period you can cancel your cover and be entitled to a pro-rata refund subject to no claim being paid under the policy, less an administration fee of £25.

Which is almost as good.

Next week the car is having an MOT, warranty extension and the summer wheels/tyres will be fitted, so I’ll have it detailed and will put up some pictures at that point.

However, my replacement car looks to have been further delayed, so I’m not in the same rush to offload this one any more.

Thanks to those of you who contacted me to express an interest - look out for updates in the next few weeks!

Car has now had its MOT (no issues) and the adaptive light fault has been resolved (just a new bulb needed).

The warranty has also been extended for another year.

Here are some updated pictures - you can see the paintwork is in good condition, but the wheels do have some herb marks.
The tyres are Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, with circa 5.5mm of tread around. Some marks on the tyres commensurate with the kerb marks.

Well, now that my Taycan seems likely to be arriving in February, it’s time to put my RS4 up for sale.

It’s done just over 72,000 miles. Full Audi service history and recently had all the relevant 80k service items completed. Pictures above are still accurate!

The car is 19” Audi wheels with winter tyres (purchased from here) - two brand new Continental winter tyres were fitted last week and the wheels were refurbed back to silver a few years ago. These are available separately, if not required by the new owner.

The 20” V-spoke alloys are currently being refurbished and the tyres are Michelin Pilot Sport 4S with c. 4-5mm of tread.

Sorry for the delay in replying. I’m going to get an up-to-date valuation in the new year, from the usual online suspects and use that as a guide.

Isn’t that just the usual 14 day cooling off period applicable to many financial transactions ? Presumably it means that you can apply for a refund. Don’t think that has anything to do with transferability.
I’d be interested to know what the answer is though - does the warrant follow the car, irrespective of owner, or is the warranty only valid regarding the person who paid for it ? Surely it’s the car that is being ‘protected’ ?
Someone here must have a copy of an Audi warranty with terms and conditions stated ?

Audi rules are pretty clear.

'This warranty cannot be transferred to another owner or vehicle'. Same principle as RFL not transferable when a vehicle is sold these days.

I had the same when I sold my B8 a few years ago, but it only had 6 weeks left so did not seek a refund on the remaining cover.

Sorry, my point was that even if the warranty is not transferable, if I can get a refund for the unexpired period of cover then that can be factored into the price for the car and the new owner can add their own warranty, if required.

Looking for £23k (or £23.5k to include the winter wheels and tyres)!
