2006 RS4 MRC Stage II 448BHP well known on this forum and the previous owner was a forum member!
I've owned the car for 4 years since then and have continued to cherish it from where the previous owner left it.
Factory spec including Recaro bucket seats, Flat bottom steering wheel, Sat Nav, Bose, Black Optics pack and more!
Cars only had 3 owners, with FASH has been maintained to a thoroughly high standard, spending thousands on maintenance and upgrades along the way, full stage II remap and the all-important carbon clean. The car has had oil changed every 5k miles and had front brake discs replaced. Recently just spent nearly 2K on two front drive shafts, MAF and two lambda sensors.
112K Miles

Tubi style custom exhaust, de-cat straight through downpipes, 100 cell race cats.
Stage II manifold - ported and deflapped
MRC Stage II remap up 448bhp
Inlets and valves carbon cleaned
Revolution carbon air box with cold air feed.
K&N adjustable springs
Hotchkis adjustable ARB's rear set 225% stiffer transforms the car removing understeer that plagues all Audis.
Akipol diff mount

HEL braided brake hoses
Brembo brake discs and Ferrodo brake bads

Piano black interior with full custom re-upholster of RS bucket seats, rear seats and door trims with black and white leather, with white stitching.Photos do not so this interior justice!

Exterior:
Tinted windows,
Black optics pack, black wheels. Detango front and side indicators.
LED rear lights.
Full paint correction and protection by PMG Autocare undertook 2 years ago.

Well over 15k spent with invoices and FASH.

This car has everything done to it that the enthusiast yearns for. With the stage II remap and the carbon clean essential, this car feels much more alive and drives like it was meant to. The standard cars are down on power and feel dull in comparison.

This is truly an amazing example of a classic manual V8 performance car, new owner will be a very happy and lucky RS4 owner.

Sensible offers only.

Price drop. Anyone know the best we to sell these modified stage II RS4's? Not getting much response from anywhere. This as an enthusiast forum where everyone drools over mods, but on Pistonheads, Autotrader, eBay, gumtree is it better to downplay the mods? Do mods put many potential buyers off? We know these things with a stage II tune are still bulletproof with no reliability issues but I am concerned the casual buyer or new enthusiast won't. What strategies have worked for people in the past? Any advice appreciated.

This is Gareth's old car. I remember it well. Seen it in the flesh a few times too. GLWS.

Can't comment on the selling advice but the price seems reasonable.

I feel most people will be turned off by the non-standard interior. Mechanical mods are a little more palatable as long as there is a justifiable performance reason for them.

How on earth is this not selling, Its an absolute bargain, to get them mods done alone is top money. Disks n pads done well sorted this is at 15k. It’s just mileage that may put people off but Iv drove higher milers and they’re still solid!

If anything put the price up and hold onto it if you can.

Being completely independent, plenty of mods and the mileage means the asking price would take a hit. Drop it by 1500 quid and it’ll probably fly out?

That handbrake cover looks looser than Chunky's mum!
Get some tyre dressing on and take some more photos.

Looks like an aftermarket leather handbrake cover over the OEM rock hard 'leather'.

It’s an odd one at the moment, people are just getting over Xmas, then The long month January, then Valentine’s Day, it feels like loads of little milestones to get out of the way before people spend money.

We see it at work, the end of March every year is like someone flicks a switch and they all start buying again.

I take it you’re a dealer?

My £0.02...

I doubt all the superlative nonsense and SHOUTING in the ad washes well with the crowd on here.

Black wheels on a black car might be a bit marmite too.

Price seems on the low side IMO

The gloss black steering wheel trim was my idea by the way.

I'll admit black wheels on a black car doesn't do it for me. Otherwise it's a really nice car and had I not just bought one for similar money (a little more) I would be strongly considering this one.

Not sure I'd be taking pics under the bonnet with all that brown flaky stuff under there!
