Oh wow... thats rough, what happened? and whats the damage? not worth repairing.... speak to ricky at REP performance he's the man with these and maybe it might be worth spending to get it put right?
Its going to need a piston/rehone... possibly worst case a block, or a second hand motor as im sure the v8 is silicone lined in the bore meaning you cant hone it, not 100% though.

Gutted for you!

Nothing to do with carbon clean that was done 18 months ago it just shut down in the snow a few weeks ago
Other than putting a camera down the spark plug no further investigation has been carried out
It will require a new engine

You not willing to put the money into it? a new motor can be had for a reasonable amount of money?

Spent the last few weeks looking for an engine without any luck so thought I'd advertise it on here in its current condition and price it accordingly, I'm absolutely gutted to be honest as this has been an amazing car over the past 6 years

As Tom mentioned, go to Ricky at rep performance. He will have the engine out within a day of getting it.

Hello Guys!

Sorry to the OP! That's soul destroying!

You cannot home the bores on these as they are plasma coated so it will require a set of crankcases, piston, valves and probably some work to tidy the head up!

Not to scary but my cheap!

The most cost effective repair will be to find a good quality guaranteed second hand engine and drop that in!

I have had a few PM's already on it so will work through them!

Cheers Ricky
