Looking to purchase soon sub 100k miles with max 3 owners and full history really looking standard cars but would consider stage two cars if in budget
Budget .... Please advise what is a decent price for a decent car seen cars now at 20k why ? What should i pay as big investment and been stung before

Buy from an owner here, check their history, posts etc and buy with more confidence. No rush

You should try and buy the best car you can possibly afford. Then make provisions for work which you will undoubtedly have to do. A warranty of some sort is helpful to offset any potential remedial work.

Maintenance history is paramount above all else. Read up on all issues in the C6 forum. Get a proper thorougher inspection done. Make a list of the options you like to have and then accordingly search for a car.

These are great cars but they are at an age where wear related bills will surface.

28000 for doug's car very nice looking would like less than 100k as when selling my old rs6 was so hard to sell with 120 on

If an Avant isn't essential, my Saloon ticks a lot of boxes. 52K miles, still under Audi warranty, MRC stage 2, High spec. Recent service and tyres. Engine oil seal done with replacement PAS pump about 5K ago (both common, both done under warranty). DRC & gearbox spot on. In fact, everything drives spot on. Was at 30K, now at 29K. Would take 28K if I got serious interest this week as I've found a car I'm hopefully going to see on Sat and would be a real shame to trade it in...

Of course, fold down seats is no substitute for an estate if you really need big load lugging ability though...
