I've only just realised what you mean, I will amend that, that's a mistake I apologise - but either way if the lower price is the one your wanting to pay I cannot back out now, I will stick to the price you have seen

Yes I have to declare to my earnings to HMRC as I like to own a few sports cars throughout the academic year from my earnings? Is there an issue with that?
I thought this was a forum for Audi owners (of which I have 3)
So far all I can feel is a few little digs about my car I have listed?
"Sorry dan but you talk like a trader....."
Does this make my car any different from any other car for sale?
"Mixed messages"
What's mixed about anything?
I thought this would be an ideal place to present my car to those genuinely wanting an rs4, along with this I have b7 parts including a full Miltek, a nearly new set of Bilstein ps shocks and springs and 2 front wing seats........
What is wrong here guys?

I think the problem is that if you are declared as a motor trader by HMRC you are therefore classed as a Motor Trader.
If you are a Trader, then you should be providing a warranty which is not mentioned in the advert. (edit: it is mentioned but you have to pay full price to have it??!)
Also, dealers are not allowed to advertise on the forum, unless you cough up and become a registered dealer on here.

HMRC do not declare people as a motor trader, HMRC do not declare anybody as anything it's the other way around,
And yes, a trader is to give a 3 month warranty on a sale, and this is usually with some silly company who will wriggle out as wear and tear, I'm offering a year with Audi at my cost, I'm hardly here looking to make a quick buck, this is a car which I purchased after selling my r8 to use and I have used it, I don't have a forecourt or a showroom,
I've covered nearly 3000 good miles in this car and still driving today.
Anyway- it's a smashing car and here to sell and someone may grab a bargain - I'm sick of the likes of other sites As full of timewasters of which I didn't expect to see here,
I suppose if this is all not right then just have this removed (simply because I don't know how to do it and frankly not bothered) but then maybe one of your fellow enthusiasts may be looking and they would be happy that it's on here.
As for coughing up why not get straight to the point - people are not mind readers and I'm sure someone from an admin point of view on this forum would be able assist me how was I to know?????

I think the way you have gone about this could have been better, it comes across as very transient. It's evident that posting a For Sale thread was always going to be your intention - you did it only 20 minutes after your first post within the Welcome Section. Which inturn was only a few hours after registering with the forum. Being more forthcoming with information in your welcome post and giving the fraternity here a chance (48hrs) to guide you on how the forum generally works, could have saved this scenario from playing out.
The forum has no Moderators and is self-policing by the enthusiasts who frequent here. Every year we see a lot of 'home traders' joining up, masquerading as private individuals, trying to open up other channels to sell their wares or gain exposure. The vast majority will disappear never to be seen again, even when they've paid to advertise here.
The website owner (Phil) can be contacted through the sponsorship link towards the top right-hand side of the page. More information can also be found there on what is offered to you.

No-one can delete the thread other than the website owner; I have detailed in my previous post how to do that and it’s not usually instant.
However, as a work around you can go back to the first post in this thread and click the edit button, delete all the text and re-submit the post. This gives a more immediate solution should you wish to do so.
