Reluctant sale of my beloved 2009 Audi RS6 Avant in stunning Sepang blue with black leather seats/silver roof lining and carbon fibre trim. Don’t let anyone tell you that silver seats look better, we all know that the silver interior cars are slower. As are the saloons
This is one of the highest spec cars in the UK, I spent a very long time searching out a car with these options specifically. You do not need the expensive ceramic brakes for road use, and you do not need to take an RS6 Avant to the track.
Mostly used by my wife for the school run, it is now surplus to requirements. As punishment for forcing me to sell the RS6 I have bought the wife an old Defender; as far toward the other end of the scale in terms of refinement, comfort, speed, and noise. That’ll teach her to come between a man and his car.
It has all the usual RS6 specifications such as fabulous 5 litre, twin turbocharged V10, 2G MMI, Sat nav, phone connectivity (iPhone cable), 3 setting sports suspension, etc. with the addition of the following:
Audi Dealer arranged MTM 702HP (517KW) tune
Miltek exhaust with quad outlet
Bose sound system
Digital TV
Parking system Advanced (camera and sensors)
Soft close doors
Electric sunroof
Power bootlid
Automatic cruise control
Advanced Key (keyless lock/unlock/start)
Heated front and rear seats
Both front seats with memory function
Rear window blinds
Factory privacy glass
Locking boot compartment
Electric steering wheel adjustment
Load kit
I have also fitted spacers (10mm front and 8mm rear)
I changed the start/stop button for the facelift version with the metal button.
MMI is updated to latest version and has the 2015 3D Nav maps.
New brake pads all round 3 months ago, discs in excellent condition having been changed at 50k miles.
The front area, up to 1/3 of the way up the bonnet/wings, as well as some side panels and rear bumper is protected with a clear film to prevent stonechips and keep the paint in top condition.
The ‘dreaded oil leak’ was fixed for me before I bought it, at a specialist. A 50p seal on the oil pump drive that required the engine to be removed. Most RS6 develop this at around 50-60k miles and 100% of the cars I looked at had this leak.
Spark plugs changed at 58k miles
Currently sitting at 68500 miles but in constant use. Will be serviced at specialist prior to sale.
I did not get an extended warranty and am glad of it. Nothing has gone wrong and nothing ever needed fixing, apart from consumables.
Priced for quick sale. No test pilots, no tyre kickers, no P/X.
Sorry, without insurance you cannot drive it.
I travel quite a bit so best to email me or contact by PM. My UK phone is switched off most of the time.
Price is £27,000 - Not the cheapest for sale, not the lowest mileage, but loads of options on the spec sheet, good condition, and a 700+ BHP tune. I would say it is easily the best value RS6 on offer.
