My C6 RS6 Avant is now up for sale

The car has done 47,700 miles, has full Audi service history and is covered by a comprehensive Audi UK warranty until June 2016

I bought it from a main dealer at the end of May when it was at 45,000 miles, and I absolutely love it - the plan was to run it for a year, which was when my next factory order car was due to be delivered - however I had a call from the dealer a few weeks ago and the build has jumped the queue to early November, so the RS will need to go much sooner than expected

I wanted a standard low mileage car in a subtle colour from a main dealer with all consumables in good condition with a full warranty so that I could run it for a year without any significant expenditure (petrol aside of course!), and this one fitted the bill perfectly

It has some nice factory options (listed below), in addition to the usual long list RS6 specification

Standard RS6 specification, plus following options:
- Digital TV reception
- Power close doors
- Privacy glass
- Passenger seat memory
- Electric adjustable steering wheel with memory & comfort entry function
- AMI with Apple Lightning connector
- MMI running latest 5570 software
- Load space management fittings (adjustable retainer bar, strap and lashing points in the boot)
- I also bought a waterproof boot liner thing that I'll throw in with the sale

Some headline points:
- 2009 / 09 Registration
- Standard unmodified car with full Audi service history
- Last service at 45,000 miles by supplying Audi dealer
- MOT to March 2016 (no advisories when done in March this year)
- 2 previous owners (lady owner had it before me for 4 years)
- Front discs and pads replaced at 45,000 miles by supplying Audi dealer
- Rear discs and pads replaced at 41,000 miles
- Pirelli P Zeros at approx 5mm all round
- Monza silver, black leather interior, carbon fibre trim
- Bodywork, wheels and interior all immaculate

It's currently lined up to go in as part exchange against the new car next weekend based on a decent deal I've agreed with the dealer - in the meantime I'm happy to discuss sensible offers around the £28.5k mark

How come it's 2G if it was registered 09/2009?

Got the pre-facelift speedo too.

because registered and built are two difference points in time ...

It was registered July 2009

When I was looking for the '6, yes 3G was a 'nice to have', but condition, mileage, history & warranty took priority - I haven't been at all disappointed with 2G

Have you updated the 2G to 5570? That's the latest update I'm aware of.

By 09 / 2009 I mean it's an 09 plate, and was registered in 2009 (10 July according to V5); 2nd owner bought it late 2011, then I bought it in May

I haven't done any updates myself but I've not checked the version so it might already have been done - if it's important to someone I can check

Have you updated the 2G to 5570? That's the latest update I'm aware of.

It's not very late, pretty sure some cars registered later still if not the odd one in 2010. Don't forget the arsehole had just fallen out of the financial markets when these landed and Audi had a big pile of stock.

Yep, I was buying at the time.....i had been looking at a pre FL car but lucked out with a FL.

Checked, and yes it's running 5570 software - the previous owner was clearly very thorough

I'm lowering my price a bit to offers close to £30k - with the replacement arriving within a month it would be handy to see the RS6 going to a good home sooner rather than later
