Howdy all,

Doing my usual I think, i just like a nice car over summer.

So heres what i know, forum owned car by three people now

2006 RS4 B7
Sprint Blue :D
Yellow stuff pads
20" rs5 alloys (genuine) refurbed last week in silver
good tyres all around (contis)
flat bottom wheel
bucket seats
JCWELDFAB exhaust (3k)
cold air feed
PS9 blistein coilovers
pre cat removal
heated front AND rear seats
adaptive headlights that turn left and right
55k miles upon sale
good contis all around

FSH

Receipt for works carried out at MRC in June 15
£3800 quid bill :(

Service including plugs etc (20k)
stage 2
decoke
replace engine loom
replace lamba sensors
replace knock sensors
replace both oil lines
free up and clean up coilovers

I am away with this car next week of to Spa for the F1, so will not be ready until the 25/8/15.

I have covered 5k in this car faultlessly in the past 2 months.

Mot until november i think

Shes a cat D, front end damage, but suss this out...

4k of works carried out at mrc and a 2.8k exhaust? plus 1k wheels?

Bargain? £16.k... no offers sadly as it owes me more than this and i will have to keep it otherwise... the exhaust sells for 1.5k? and you will rarely hear anything like it in all the time, the weld fab is just stupidly wicked

negatives i can think of are

1, the seats dont inflate on s button, yet work on the seat switches
2, since it went to mrc it has a bush squeeking at the front end, not always. just not had chance to take it back.
3, exhaust manifold must be working its way loose? as on full chat you get fumes in the car as of the past week or so i have noticed it, if i get time il sort this myself.

pics from before wheel refurb and suspension now raised

Bargain, looks awesome decked too - (unless you're certain) I wouldn't list the bolster inflation as a fault, it can be switched off.

a little video of me being followed last weekend.

I was playing to the camera making it pop and bang, Listen to the noise lol

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2q7_5efSOI

I see this as a 10.5k car... with loads of good extras

the 4k bill in june at mrc, is pure gold, most people probably would want to do this to the car anyway, stage 2, oil lines, decoke, 20k service including plugs, cold start delete etc etc..

then you have a 3k exhaust that you could sell for £1500? if you diddnt want it

10.5k plus 4k at mrc plus 1500 =16k....

then you have some lovely wheels, 55k low miles, fsh... Oh and coilovers?

im not asking for what iv paid back, it owes me more than this. The fact that in the last two months has had all the negative things these cars suffer from done, plus a bit more has to be a benefit. AS you can go and buy a 20k one and still end up spending 4k on it doing the things i have had done

Haha neil would love 2 mate but want a carbon clean, deflapped and stage 2 first fella..unfortunatly a zorst is last on me list but it will be done coz they sound unbelievable...does the bang happen because of zorst or is it the combination of zorst and map neil? Does yours do that?

Car looks stunning, but as above, unfortunately you cannot get away from the fact its a rebuilt write off. Definitely best to sell the 20s and the exhaust separately - assuming you have the originals to bolt on. If you have photos of the front end crash damage, it might be worth posting those too.

The crackle, pop and bang I think is a combo of both, but I suspect the map adds to the fueling characteristics but I suspect the JC system amplifies that immensely. It's hard to know as I had both at the same time. I drove only one day with no MRC map and just the JC system only and I seem to recall it did bang.

Yes Jay, mine does do that 'bang' and the only way of really enjoying it is when you are in it ;)
