I was offered 14500 today off audi dealer .when I bought my car it had the bucket type of seats in it but thought they were uncomfortable so swapped over to they comfort type a lot beater .I know some people would be put off the car being a cat d but I would rather have one with low miles than some that's been to the moon and back ,,, :beerchug:

You need to tell Audi it's a cat d and then that offer will halve

 that was the first thing audi were informed that it was a cat d and they valued my car at 14500 so don't think the car is worth 29000 if the value of the car is half due to it being a cat d not desperate to sell car only went to look at a sq5 to keep wife happy,so prob just keep the car.lots of life left in her only just done over 50,000 miles and being a cat d due to some scumbag stealing the seats out her in the first place want bother me like it must bother a lot of folk

I'd bite their arm off.

Audi offered me £7900 for my cat d RS4 as a trade in against a £35k car.

They're worthless to Audi as all they can do is put them out to auction.

The old man is right.

No way its worth 14.5k to a stealer mate.

If they have offered that, rip their arm off

I part ex'd a cat d r1 a few years back, most dealers wouldn't even offer me a part ex! Honda where the only ones, the offer was half, but as said, they will not sell a cat car, they'll just auction it.

Take that offer now, it might not be there in a years time!

Congrats mate, I definitely think it's the right decision. You should look at it differently, they're going to get a great car that they can't shift when they want to change it! It's horrible that something like a set of seats being nicked destroys all future value of the car but unfortunately that's just how it is.

Someone will get a cheap RS4 that's for sure. It'll be at copart within a week of you handing it over, and I'll eat my hat if it fetches more than £9k.

Well done on robbing Audi for £14k. I'm genuinely (pleasantly!) surprised.

A car salesman that doesn't know what CAT-D is? WTF?

There's no way he could sanction a PX without authority from the sales manager, especially if he was new and the dealership is new.
