2008 S8 5.2 V10 - 36k miles

Met. Blue, face lift model, sunroof, soft close doors, finger print recognition start button, keyless entry, DVD Navigation, full Tonbridge Audi service history (last serviced in January this year, next service in a year an a half), extended black valcona leather, xenon plus headlights (with "side" lights), bluetooth mobile phone connection, crusie control, acoustic and optical parking (front and rear), heated seats, 20" 'S' alloys, climate control, electric front seats with lumbar adjust, electric boot, DAB radio, front sports seats, automatic dimming and folding mirrors, door mirror memory, heated mirrors, headlamp cleaning system, three spoke muli-function steering wheel.

Unfortunately I'm putting the above S8 up for sale. I love this car, but a lack of use (and three other cars) forces the sale. It's a clean, straight car, with no accidents, and three owners in total. It's frankly a brilliant car, pulls like a train when the mood takes you, and makes a very saucy noise while doing so.

Bad points:

There's a small scratch on the bonnet from what looks like a bird, or maybe cat. This may be gone shortly if I have time to get it done.

The power boot doesn't work from the door or key(s). Tonbridge Audi couldn't find the issue.

Price: £22,000 (it'll be on Autotrader for £500 more, but I'd like the car to go to someone with in interest in these models).

Cheers.

Mike.

Hi, cruise control. Is that the standard version or adaptive?

Looking at the grill I would say standard.

Adaptive looks like this with a square under the number plate mount.

Hi all,

Yep, you're correct, it's stand cruise control.

I had a C5 RS6 previously which I loved, but switching to this certainly didn't feel like a downgrade (although the RS6 felt a lot faster than the stats suggest). The S8 is a great car for the cash (although it does have quite the drinking problem).

You don't buy an S8 if you worry about buying fuel. :bash:
(I've been running them since 2002)

Very true - petrol is just the cost getting that V10 noise. Worth every penny.

They're brilliant cars, and I'd recommend one for anybody coming out of an RS and wanting a bit more comfort, but also a car with pace and a saucy soundtrack.

Unfortunately, it looks like I've found a buyer, so, very shortly, I'll be relegated to driving a Skoda Yeti. Diesel.

How did life come to this?
