All,
Here is my mint B7, strong money I know but I feel it is worth it to the right buyer.
http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/ ... 07/4028538
The car is genuinely in mint condition - only reason for sale is I don't have the room to garage it any more following a recent "purchase"
Thanks for looking, I can be emailed via this forum but the other place have the wrong email for me hence the wording on the ad.
Sorry for the lack of pics - never managed to upload them here
Cheers,
Kevin

Thanks Jay, the problem is that the market does not really recognise the really nice cars - I have bought and sold lots of cars over the years now being in my 50s and it has always amazed me that many people will walk past an exceptional car to buy a comparatively ropey one for the sake of a few hundred pounds - people Eh?
Fingers crossed!

only bad point I can see is it hasn't got the bucket seats but comfort seats...looks nice and clean but I think the majority of people wanting these want the bucket seats so might have to drop price because of that?

I actually prefer the comfort seats - I can't get on with the buckets
Reduced price to £22,495, would take £22k firm from a forum member - don't flame me on the price unless you have been to see the car

)
Reasonable travel expenses refunded if the car is not exactly as described!

Agree - comfort in mine too, and prefer them, more comfortable (it's in the name) and at risk of creating a world of upset look a bit more mature to me. I mean I couldn't really wrap my head around the buckets on a daily driver and most people would think I had some mid life crisis as was one step away from a modded scubie.........I bet that's gone and done it
jsyrs4 should take a look at this as I think price and condition makes this a bargain........wish this was for sale when I bought mine!

Hi thanks for the link.
That's one of my favourite colour's and it really does look mint.
Iv worked out its going cost me around the 3k to register it as I'm not from the UK soo will need to get ferry back to jersey and pay gst and exhaust emissions and soo on so it would be up at the 25k. Soo gutted tho as it really is a beautiful car but good luck with the sale.

Thanks for the interest, much appreciated - I can help you with the transport to a ferry terminal but sadly not with the taxes.
I think in three years time you would look back and think it was money well spent as values for mint original cars WILL rise - just imho of course.
Thanks again,
kevin

Hi all,
I have been offered £21,500 by the trade for my car as a straight cash purchase - I have advertised the car on PH again at £22k - I can't believe that it has not sold at this price - just need to find someone who likes the sports seats
Car going to the trader at £21,500 on Friday would prefer a few extra ££ and to sell to a forum member.....
Cheers,
Kevin

traders love these cars at moment coz they going for strong money..if you want to sell and have a full audi service record your laughing..you also need to tick all the boxes that the car has as extra options that people want and sadly most of the time its recaro seats.theres no doubt he gunna put it on his forecourt at about 24k but £21500 is good money mate...

This time last year you would have struggled to make 20k for it with comfort seats. Well done, just goes to show that clean original cars with full Audi service history sell well and make good money.
What did you replace it with?
