S4 B5 Avant for sale Spares or Repair - SOLD

My daily driver up until a couple of weeks ago, an S4 B5 Avant is for sale as a 'spares or repair'

Whilst the car is in generally good condition it has an unknown turbo fault, the garage tells me that neither of them are actively working but are so inaccessible they can tell me no more. I have driven it for months like this and apart from being under powered it functions as a perfectly good estate car/Family runabout. I was quite happily running up and down the motorway in it up to the point I bought a C5 RS6....as you do

It is MOT'd until 29/08/2015 and has just shy of 200K on the clock

On the plus side it has had an AMD remap and the printout I have shows 338BHP, it has cruise control fitted with and Audi stalk and has Black and blue leather/suede seats along with matching blue door cards. It has the blue fleck carbon fiber trim. There's some mileage left in the tyres too and a brand new aux water pump which was £100

It would make a perfectly sound daily driver, a repair project for anyone with the time/skills, a great set of donor parts or a source of cash for someone who breaks it. Its still a better car than most on the road.

Having bought the RS it is now sitting on my mums drive, I neither have the time or the room to repair/break it myself and need rid. Pains me to say it

Hello all

Thank you for the interest but the car is now sold.

It pained me deeply to have to sell it but on the plus side it appears to have gone on to a new life and I now know someone who can tell me just how badly my RS is broken next time....as its broken already....I've only had it a month....I mean who puts a bloody air pump on a car anyway.

In the spirit of the forum I thought you might look me to hear how this story continued.... The car was repaired by its new owner( the mechanic I now use for my new car) no easy task by all accounts either. I've since been taken for a ride by the guy he sold it to and it goes like a rocket again. I still miss it but am happy it went to a good home with the added bonus of having found someone who will be replacing my gearbox in the very near future. Pfff, dodgy gearbox in a c5, who knew...here we go again, I hate cars.....
