Hello All,

It's reluctantly that i post this but may as well give my car some coverage.

I was hoping to hang on to this a bit longer and sell my M5 instead but not quite working out that way. So, for that reason and a future house move on the cards here is my RS6.

I'm working away at the moment so don't have many pics but these will give you an idea.

It has all the relevant and important history in place, here is a list of work done during my ownership.

04 plate Avant in Grey
108k with full history, mostly main dealer and a few independent
Gearbox overhaul at 95k
DRC removed last year and replaced with KONI's adjustables
Full timing belt change last year at 103k, all VAG genuine parts.
New suspension arms fitted to the front axle, upper (front and rear)
Two new arms on rear axle (needed these for alignment purposes, old ones were seized)
New top mounts all round
4 x Goodyear Eagle F1's with about 1000 miles on them
Both intercoolers removed and JB welded as they are prone to leak, all nice and air tight now
New Zimmerman cross drilled front discs fitted with spare set of pads
Notorious engine oil pipework to cooler replaced. Bit of a tricky job this one to to without damaging the cooler, all sorted now though and cooler intact
Viper Stage 1 remap
4 x Alloys refurbished
Upgraded RNS-E head unit
New fuel filter
New Air filters
2 x Oil changes and filters in my time off ownership since 103k
4x Wheel alignment
El Knobbly ground down
Body work is in good condition with no dents, rust etc, some age related marks here and there but generally very good.

Theres probably more bits and pieces that i've done to it but that gives you a good overview of most the components changed. The car has had quite a few owners, 9 or 10 i think, can't remember off the top of my head at the moment but has had plenty money spent on it over the years. Theres receipts for various work done and components changed. I know the alternator was changed just before i bought it but can't remember what else. I can check when i get home in a weeks time.

Only issues currently are the windscreen has a crack right down the middle of it which will need to be changed in January for the MOT, i'll be doing this if i still have it, and one front parking sensor needs replacing. Also the Satnav plays up where it doesn't recognise my location, it used to work so probably a dodgy wire/ connection somewhere.

Not a good time of year to be selling i know but at least it's out there for people to see.

Looking for £10,995

To help a sale i could be interested in a p/x for a cheaper diesel car, twin cylinder motorbike etc.

Always open to offers though.

Thanks for looking and have a good new year all :beerchug:

Bump bump. Just a wee update, had the bonnet and both back arches resprayed due to stone chips, car looking mint now, wasn't that bad before but i'm fussy so had to get it done. Fitted 3M protective film on the rear arches so should keep the stone chips in this area at bay for a while.

Mileage has gone up since first posting, on 114k now and going spot on. Not interested in a quad anymore as bought a 2015 Grizzly 700, some toy if quading is your thing! Anyhow a nice twin cylinder motorbike would also be nice.

Any interest just drop me a line, i will deliver the car to the mainland if needs be.

Cheers

Shouldn't discount a great car due to a few 100 miles.

Update guys.

New MOT, fitted 2 x front axle, lower, rear suspensions arms, proper Lemforder ones so no cheap rubbish, also a front drivers side outer CV boot, again VAG genuine part. Car went straight through MOT with no advisories. Current mileage 115k.

For information, i'm looking to head through to Inverness to buy the misses a car over the next few days so could deliver the RS6 or M5 as far as Inverness or surrounding areas.

If anyone is interested in either car being delivered to the mainland drop me a line.
Cheers
