Due to a new business venture and needing some extra capital, I'm reluctantly putting my RS6 up for sale.

It's a 53 plate Avant in Ebony Black with natural Black leather interior and carbon trim and all the usual RS6 refinements. 77600 miles on the clock (which will go up slightly as it is used everyday).

It has wanted for nothing it's while life. All the usual C5 niggles have been taken care of with it having the gearbox replaced with a new genuine Audi unit, faulty DRC replaced with KW V3's (waterpump and campbelt done at the same time) and new intercoolers. All these were done at 65K miles in 2010 by Unit 20.

It's got full service history with Audi, Unit 20 and a local independant Audi specialist.

MOT until June 15, taxed until Jan 15.

It comes fitted with a tracker which isn't currently active, but all the paperwork is there to re-activate.

It's got Eagle F1's on the rear with approx 7mm on and 2 Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's on the front which have only covered 500 miles. It's also got a Milltek cat back fitted.

Bodywork wise It's got the usual gravel rash on the front valance and sills which all come with age! and a few little marks on the rear bumper but it does shine up very well! Washed every week with great care and regularly waxed and sealed. I'm pretty OCD about keeping my stuff clean!!









It really will be a reluctant sale but needs must and now is the right time!

The car has had the following replaced at 65920 miles by Unit 20:
Cambelt, waterpump and tensioners
Reconned intercoolers,
New front discs and pads
New n75 valve

At 65928 miles it had the following fitted by Unit 20:
New OE gearbox,
New oil cooler
Milltek cat back exhaust

Around the same time it had new KW V3 Coilovers fitted to replace the DRC.

Had much interest?

I've had about 3 stupid offers of around £8k and had 2 people come and view. Both complete timewasters. So not much luck!!! Can't believe it's still here either to be honest. Guess the market must have slowed.

I think part of the problem is people who haven't owned anything like this before won't realize how much it costs to get one up to this standard. Mine's cost me a few grand more than that after I bought a cheap one and sorted everything that had gone wrong, and it still isn't in anywhere near as good nick as yours and double the milage. In hind sight spending more and getting a really tidy one is definitely the way to go.

GLWS mate, I wouldn't drop the price any more personally, hold out for a buyer if you can.

Think you could be right mate. I've tried pointing out to people that it really doesn't need anything spending on it! falls on deaf ears cos all you get is "well that other one is cheaper" yeah, that's because it's double the mileage on it's original 'box. Want to take that risk?? I know i'd want to spend £1k more now than £3k+ in a few months if it went bang. I'm holding out as best i can!!!
