I've been reluctant to sell it since January when I first tested the waters, and i've done well to keep it this long but I believe my SO has now had it.
I would like to see it go to a good home.

Yes, that is where I purchased the car originally. I wanted a 50K 1 owner RS4, took me a while to find, but I could not have been happier, the car has performed flawlessly during my time with it. Despite the obvious works which I had to do, they were not unexpected on the RS4. I did some research and figured a few things would have to be done during my ownership. TBH I am gutted about selling it, but pressure from the folks and the SO, I suppose some sacrifices have to be made.

I will though at my soonest convenience be replacing it with the same, soon as the bank and the pocket allow. Unless someone has a house to donate me

You must be one of the lucky ones then mate, my 1 owner car from them cost me over 2k to put right with them dodging everything.

That sucks about the 2k man, especially on just buying the car .I know the way one feels when you just take ownership of these, I would have been pretty pissed off.

I got over 12 months of flawless use before I had to do anything to my car, first did the brakes, a number of months later the DRC developed a small leak, I accept though that nobody can be blamed for the DRC failing on my car, or any RS4 really for that matter (apart from Audi), even a brand new replacement could fail at anytime as they contain the same fault. Also I drove my car extensively in this first year as one could imagine when you first get them.

50-60K clutch replacement seems common enough with the sticky clutch pedal, some are lucky and go further. Odd that there is no slipping, rather just a sticky pedal though. However everything I read and everyone I spoke to pretty much told me the same thing. You could do part of the clutch and it may work for a while, better to do the whole thing really as the fault is common on these cars.

I read about these flaws before I bought the car and tried looking a black one which had just had the clutch and suspension replaced but could not find one unfortunately. I had kinda budgeted to have this works done in the second year I had the car though. Much beans and toast was eaten during this time

Hi Mark, I received your PM, and responded to all I could for now. I will post on the forum soon as I get a chance any relevant information people request pertaining to the car itself as well. Interior pictures, service schedule / dates, what paperwork I have and received etc.

Indeed, I think it is just a name, it was purchased with the black optics already on the car.
