Great looking car. How come it needed a new engine?

Scored block and they don't do replacement parts, just full engines. Engine was built in Germany, shipped to Cosworth, shipped back to Germany and then back to the UK.

Wow that's crazy. So it's really not possible to buy replacement parts for the engine? Cams, valves etc. that doesn't sound right.

Sorry to go off topic in actually after a b5 rs4 and yours looks lovely but out of my reach.

It needed a new block under warranty so I guess that's why it had a full engine.
