Hi All Any advice shall be greatly appreciated.

I'm thinking about buying a RS4 B7 Saloon pref Blk, Grey With Decent Spec FBSW, Bucket Seats, Nav. Less owners the better however folks seem to have the opinion that a sports car will always clock up owners on the log book. My opinion is the longer someone keeps the car the more likely it's well looked after, but hey you never know i guess.

I don't want the car to depreciate much in a space of a year or Two. As i may need the money at a later date if things don't go quite to plan, I've told the Mrs these cars hold Value or in cases they increase value... she says it's a good buy on that note..I hope I'm right?

With that said which year and around how much should i be paying for one?

If anyone has one for sale or knows of one please do let me know.

The car has around 12 stones chip, no other scratches or dents
Mint wheels with 6mm tyres left

I could be tempted for £20k

I swapped the buckets with another member as they kept de flating and using the car daily with buckets was not for me

Excellent look forward to seeing pics.

What kind of monies should be payed for a b7 rs4?
How long did some of you guys have wait b4 purchase?

Price depends on a lot of things.

But bare in mind around the 60k mile smark things do need doing - clutch, brakes, major service, Carbon Clean etc.

You could pay £17,000 for a car and think you have a bargian - then need to drop another £3k - £4k+ very soon after for items that need replacing.

For a well looked after car with recrnt clutch change, new disks etc i would epxect to pay around minimum £20k

ive been looking for a while now and not come across many with clutch replacement if any.

Best ive had would be-
2006, drc replaced, fash. Flat bottom, bucket seats. And allot of receipts for the work.

What would you say average mileage someone would do on a rs4?
