FOR SALE: 2003 B6 S4. £7.5k ono
Re: 2003 B6 S4. £8k
If this was November time, I would be biting your hand off for this. However, I need to buy my wife an economical car first!
Re: 2003 B6 S4. £8k
Ha ha. Just tell her to put light slippers on and get this. Much more fun...
Re: 2003 B6 S4. £8k
No, indeed, don't go any lower, people will be suspicious then. Might be worth looking into the bodywork and getting the book stamped? You've also posted three pics of the service history, but by doing this you've inadvertently made it look like there is a massive gap! Obviously you wouldn't have purchased the car in the first place if it had done 30k without a service, so no doubt there is an oil change sitting bang in the middle.xs2man wrote:Surely this is about the cheapest V8 S4 going? D'oh!!!!!!

Done at the same place as the 2 previous (43287 & 57628). Will take pic and pop it in original ad.
As for getting the book stamped, I have thought about this, but not sure if I really want to post the book. The service was done 500 miles away from me (that's how far I travelled to get the car in the first place).
Have thought about fixing the bodywork, and then upping the price by the same amount. May do this next month if funds allow, and then if it doesn't sell in a couple months, then it'll be wheel refurb and new exhaust to keep her.
Really just wanting to swap it for an avant though (S4 would be acceptable again
, but would prefer 1.9TDI or 2.0T, lol)

Glad to see - that is oil every year! You might have to do the bodywork but keep the price the same sadly....
Avants seem to hold a hefty premium. There would loads of saloons around for lower money when I was buying, but it simply had to be estate shaped. Soooo practical - in the first two weeks alone I spent a long weekend in Derbyshire, four adults with kit etc, and collected a new bike with the seats down.

Re: 2003 B6 S4. £8k
Yeah, was thinking that. We'll see what happens over the next few weeks. Then I might decide to keep her. It does have the Ski-bag, so not too worried really, as that would be the main reason for wanting the avant, due to the amount of ski-ing we do.
I may just punt the A3 instead and get an avant off that instead. I usually keep my daily drivers for about 3 years (the A3 we have had for coming up to 3 years now), and change the toy every year, and its just coming up to the year with the S4, so we'll see. Thats why the S4 has only done about 7k in the last year. Although it would have been a LOT less if my A3 hadn't been off the road for 3 months, (and the reason it only did about 15k last year) lol.

Was quoted £550+vat today to get the front end repaired. So I can do this before sale, with a sale price of £8500 if required. That'll be all freshly painted. No offers at this price though, and a £200 deposit will be required before car goes in for painting.
Re: FOR SALE: 2003 B6 S4. £8k
This is finishing the ebay auction tomorrow night. In case anyone is interested...
If it doesn't make the reserve, I think the car will be kept for the foreseeable future.

Last bump for this weekend. If she doesn't go in the coming week, I'm just gonna paint her and keep her. So will bump with some fresh pics... (camera ran out of juice after first 4 pics, so phone pics for the rest).

And then no juice. Phone pics:

And finally, the bits that pee me off on the car:

Left this a while because I was wanting to keep her.
However, SWIMBO wants a new car, and I want my
'd so this must go.
She will be PX'd in a couple weeks if I don't get a sale, so dropping her down to £7500 ONO. Until px time anyway.

In fact, will take £7k this weekend.
Re: FOR SALE: 2003 B6 S4. £7.5k ono
Rather than just spiral your asking price down and down as the px date approaches, I'd suggest you post up the px price and offer a 'beat the px price' sale. Cannot be much lower than that, surely?

Re: FOR SALE: 2003 B6 S4. £7.5k ono
You would think lol.
Well, the price is what it is. £7k is very cheap, but it would allow me to put the order in straight away, but I will be without my second car for about 3 months while the new motor gets built. For £500 less, I would keep my motor for these 3 months. But who knows what will happen to px prices in that time?
It's not dropping below what it is currently priced at. So no fear of it spiralling downwards. And if it doesn't sell in the next week at that price, then its obvious to me that it just wont sell, so I'll just px it. Just thought I would give some forum members a shot at a cheap S4.
