One thing that seems to make owners sell is the Recaros. If the car is bought as a second car doing short journeys they aren't easy to live with. The guy I got my car from bought it from a guy who bought it for his wife. She hated the seats and struggled to get in and out of them.
As with any car, history backed up with invoices is important.

Got you. Makes sense. I just dont like the idea of an owner not knowing a spring had snapped Image

Yep mine had loads of owners...they really are unpractical and uncomfortable for a daily driver, so no surprise on number of owners

I agree with your thinking on that, it does show a lack of love and care!

I've found one with under 20k miles that's been stored. Obviously going to break my budget but will try and see it next week.

They're great little cars.

Only thing I would point out is, my other half had one as her daily and over time started to hate having anything in the boot exposed and no easy way to get her handbag (if she had a mate in the car) as the Pole Positions take up so much space and dont fold forwards. Small things but eventually was enough for her to want to get rid of it !!!

You can fit the parcel shelf from a standard car if you want to hide things.

It will be interesting to see what it's like and how much they want for it.
Check what invoices it has and see what it has had done to recently. As you know storing a car is not always good and you could easily throw another £1000-1500 at it.
