General

A much loved and well maintained RS4 in one of the most desirable combinations of sprint blue, Recaro bucket seats and a flat bottom steering wheel. The car has full-service history, MOT until August 2022, 4 recent tyres (Continental ContiSportContact 5) and new Bilstein B14 coilovers to replace the DRC.

I’ve detailed as much as I can think about the car below but more than happy to answer questions.

The car has a full service history originally by Audi and followed by specialists with stamped service book and receipts to prove the work undertaken. Some of the most recent and notable items I’ve mentioned at the top and, the full-service history is listed out.

Notable Items – DRC replaced with Bilstein B14’s in August 2021, 4 new tyres (covered 2000 miles), replaced starter motor, front disks and pads replaced 9000 miles ago, new radiator, inlet manifold flaps removed, carbon cleaned 9000 miles ago.

Additional Items/Modifications

18 months ago the car had a 2 stage paint correction and a 5 year Gtechniq ceramic coating applied. Since this I have religiously followed the recommended washing regime and the paintwork looks fantastic. It’s had a top up to the coating with Gtechniq EXO on 4th March ready for the pictures and sale. The wheels were refurbished at the same time as the original detail and remain unmarked, the calipers have been painted Brembo red and have the RS4 logo’s replaced.

The car has a JamStyling rear diffuser in a mid sheen black, this is fitted over the original with no cutting so it can be removed should the new owner wish to do so.

8mm front and 10mm rear wheel spacers fitted with longer H&R bolts. Original bolts included in the sale.

Last year the headlights were refurbished by Trups at EM tuning with new projector lenses and outer lens refurbishment with XPEL PPF coating to provide protection. At the same time LED sidelights/daytime running lights were fitted and new Osram bulbs.

Bluetooth music streaming via a Bovee Tune2Air which is fitted to an OEM iPod dock in the glovebox. The 6 CD changer has been removed to fit the iPod dock but is included in the sale. To me a much preferred solution to the cheap and questionable quality Bluetooth devices fitted behind the dash.

Bolsters all inflate and work as they should on pressing the S button or by use of the seat switches.

Two keys and all paperwork present. 4 former keepers.

Downsides

The valves on the exhaust do not operate with the S button. When I bought the car it had an aftermarket exhaust that droned, I got hold of a second hand original exhaust but on fitting we found the valves are seized, unfortunately. It is not a result of a failed vacuum system as this can be felt with the ‘kick’ at 5,500rpm. I have sourced some further back boxes that had working flaps when they were removed. I was going to get these fitted before sale but haven’t got around to it. The back boxes can be included in the sale but do have black tips, not chrome.

The driver’s side bolster has worn which is common on the bucket seats. I had been meaning to get this refurbished, I just haven’t got to this job either. I have a quote from Autoretrim based in Halesowen, near Birmingham for £200 to do the work.

One of the front parking sensors intermittently plays up – I have the fault code print out for this.

Adaptive headlights move but throw an error to the dash. I’ve removed the fuse to stop the error.

This week it has started loosing windscreen washer fluid – I topped it up and the low fluid level came back on again the next day. This happened once before and was the result of water leaking from the headlight washers so maybe that again.

I’m selling after three years ownership as I want to get a cheap, efficient, run about, tip run car while I renovate a house we’ve just moved into. I can’t justify leaving the car sat on the drive barely being used.

Car is located in South Birmingham and viewings are welcomed, I’m happy to take people out for a drive but if you want to drive, you will need to prove fully comprehensive insurance for the car.

Private plate will be removed before sale.
