Have you got a link to the advert? these cars are good but there's a few things you want to look for! Oil leaks, steering rack issues and a few other not so common ones.
Brakes are expensive your looking at £1000 just in front discs and pads and roughly the same for the rear, check make sure they have been changed recently.
I mean i wont go into major detail if your planning on getting a warranty with it as it'll cover nearly anything that goes wrong, but i promise you that you wont stay away from MRC.
When a stage2 map can get you 730+bhp and upwards of 780IB/Ft of torque its hard to stay away.
Check the gearbox, my old black 08 plate had a rough change from 3rd to 4th most notable at around 2500rpm shift with mid throttle, would "bang"
Box needed a clutch set and thats expensive also audi wont touch it unless it actually breaks..... be worth getting the box oil changed around £550 from MRC or similar.
Tyres are around £150+ a corner and they do wear as its a heavy old boat!
front ARB bushes take some hammer due to the weight easy fix, around £30-40 for the part and would take a DIY'er about 30mins to change 3 big bolts per side and the undertray off very simple.
DRC leaks, check for shock misting... not hugely common on the compared the B7/C5 but still worth a check.
Take a VCDS scanner with you and check for hidden faults, most C6's (both of mine) had a broken heated mirror circuit and SAi pump/combi vavles were clogged.
The SAi is secondary air injection and i gurantee 110% itll have "low flow bank1/2" stored for that, it just means the combi valves that inject the air on cold start are clogged with carbon, it just makes the car missfire and sometimes smoke black (overfuel) on cold starts because the air injection isnt working as it should.
Its not a major issue as i said only affects cold start, Audi may fix it under warranty but its an engine out job unfortunately.
Any more info just ask!
