Audi S8 D2 Racing Green Black Leather

The time has come to let the S8 go, I am looking at something else to fettle and mess with.

The car is a 2001 in Racing Green Pearl, black Valcona Leather and wood trim.

A short history, the car is fully documented from the day it was first registered, down to the owners, names and addresses with all invoices and work history. There are all the previous MOTs and VED discs, along with many magazines and original brochures.

I bought the car from a guy who also had a W12, couldn't keep both so I took this on. In my ownership I have taken the car from a nice car to an amazing car. We have had all the suspension replaced, along with all the brakes, bushes exhaust etc. All with Audi components where possible. The works were carried out at with MRC Tuning or JJB Motors. Once the car was driving and stopping as it should, I then commissioned a full respray. This involved the car having all the glass removed, the panels inc the doors and a full respray, inc door shuts. It was double lacquered and then highly polished so it shines like a diamond. The wheels were also refurbished at the same time, currently fitted with 5-6mm Dunlop tyres. Everything works as it should, with a new battery last week there should be no dramas on the horizon. The car has been to Germany 2 times over the last 3 months without any issues and returning good mpg, yet being able to sit at 150mph if needed, autobahn of course!

The previous owner had the newer RNSE fitted with Digital TV and Radio installed, which looks like it belongs there. It has recently just has a full service and will of course be valeted for the new owner so will look like it should on the day its collected. It currently has a personal plate, which will be transferred the day of the sale while the new owner is present (new DVLA rules allow this between 8am and 7pm now).

To sum this up, the car is a very nice example indeed, with nothing needed other than a new owner, oh and a payment to me of circa 5500gbp. (new macbook and I can't find the pound sign!)

It has done a few miles, 180k but the car has had all the care and love it should and really is like a 4 year old car with 40k miles therefore I am asking what I think this is worth, and with Practical Classics and Classic and Sportscar suggesting these are now on the future rise, I think this is a good enough investment.

FYI your personalised plate, you need to do it before sale so you get the V5 from DVLA in the original reg to then be able to transfer it to the new owner. You can only take a plate off online then they send you the new V5

As some of the sharper eyed may have already spotted, the switches show that the car has rear blind and head rest drop. These are just switches, sorry to disappoint.
