I still have property in Newcastle so it's registered there. The insurance will move over this week. Will I have to move the registered address too? I wasn't going to unless necessary. It's still UK btw.

Doesn't matter, Northern Ireland is part of the uk, our log books are the exact same as a car registered to a address in England. In the past we had a separate vehicle licensing division but it is all now centralised to Swansea.

This car is perfect, i bought a saloon as I couldn't find a avant with the options and condition I wanted but this is absolutely perfect. Good luck with the sale keep firm as it is worth that price, you will eventually get a buyer.

Thanks!

I'm loving my garage at the minute: Fiesta ST for the Monday to Friday, then the RS4 weekends. Great contrast between the two. I took the RS to the Mournes last weekend - some lovely roads around there. Donegal is great too. When the RS goes there will be a big whole in my driving life!

Stu, I can't believe your car hasn't sold yet. As you know from our past discussion, if it had come to the market at the time I was looking I'd have snapped it up. I see there is another 07 Daytona for sale in Larne Trader's place on usedcarsni.com and it's quite a bit more money. There definitely isn't the same market for them in NI, but I agree you should hold out for the right price as it will go eventually. GLWS

How much is this car?

Don't fancy a Mini JCW with full spec inc recaros (and I do mean full spec)?

I'm looking to finance it through Oracle which is easily done on a private purchase as I've done it before.

Sorry! I edited the first post and forgot to put the price in! It's £20,950 in line with the new NI adverts. I'll fix that when I'm near a proper keyboard.

Sold! Good luck Alex with the car. You've got a good one.

The sound as it drove away was bitter sweet :(

Well done Stu, when Marc drove off in mine I asked him to give me ten mins so I could be in the pub when mine drove off, as I couldn't bear to see it being driven away.

Selling was an interesting experience! A flurry of interest in the first few weeks, then pretty much nothing, then two serious contenders in the last few days.

Hopefully the new owner will say hi on here at some point. It would be nice to read how the car is doing.

It's been a pleasure to drive in the weekends but I have to say: an RS4 is an every day car and should be used every day. I didn't do that for the last few months and I regret it.

Even more importantly: the RS4 is a winter car ...queue shameless plug for my other sale! OEM 19s with 240km/h Sottozeros are here: viewtopic.php?f=64&t=117366#p761662

It was covered in crud from the cross country blast to Dublin airport this morning, so it wasn't looking it's best as it disappeared off :)
