What have you looked at so far?

I've looked at 8 cars so far, mainly from dealers maybe a couple of private sales, pretty much everything within 80 miles on autotrader, ebay & pistonheads within the last 6 months.All have had something wrong mechanically or have been miss described, so I'm becoming a bit cynical. I'm willing to travel, up to 100 miles for the right car, but they seem to be a bit thin on the ground at the moment. I think like chap who posted yesterday ( Stuart I think) I may throw in the towel soon... I said that about 2 months ago as well....

Have you considered this one? High miles but evidence suggests it may have been looked after well by its previous owners.

It was originally a trade in from an Audi dealer in the Bristol area a few months back. Sat around for ages & needed a good clean. Iv been looking for a while as well and tried to buy it before it went to auction.

The pre-auction report was quite good on it (despite it being bogging from sitting in Audi's yard)

Its also overpriced - but I suggest the person who has it is expecting a heavy profit on it so I think there will be quite a scope for negotiation.

I do like the look of that one but the mileage is too high for me. Ideally I'd like something under 100k or in that ballpark as I have to think about what kind of mileage it's going to be on when I come to sell.

Been keeping my eye on the scene since about October.

Looking seriously for about 2 months. Theres a lot of overpriced cars at the moment, and lots that are hiding something as well.

I was in Sunderland the other week looking at one that turned out a total dog.

Hi, we have our RS6 Avant for sale (it is advertised on here) everything on it is original, not been messed around with, still on DRC which was drained & refilled by Audi dealer, we have owned the car since last May and only selling as we want to go down the campervan route! The mileage is currently 64500 but will increase slightly as I use the car on a daily basis, the service book has 11 stamps (I'm sure thats right but can double check) mainly by Audi dealers and a couple from independent garage. The only bad points that I can say is that the wheels could do with being refurbished as unfortunately pavements seem to stick out when I park!!
New brake discs & pads fitted all round, reversing sensors have all been changed, loads of receipts and invoices fromus and the person we bought from last year. The previous owner to us only used the car at weekends and had it for 6 years, and i dont do very many miles as its used for school run & pottering around - rather large engine for that! Mot until March 2016, if this car may be of interest please contact me.

Getting harder and harder to find a good C5 with less than 100k on the clock. Want a good RS6, pay the money, simple as. Prices are starting to climb for good ones I believe.
