Cheers man.

Not too sure if any of that has been changed. DRC looks good. No leaks. All I have is the stamps in the logbook. I regularly check for fault codes. All clear. I'll double check the logbook and see if it gives any insight.

No major work needing done to it while I've had it. Changed the oil and filter and cleaned the K&N 5k miles ago. Changed out a faulty coil. Did have a SAI P4092 fault but after a clear it went away. After a bit of driving the readiness monitors were all reading green again.

Only real bad points I can think of are a few stone chips here and there but due to the colour they hide pretty well, probably needs a front right tyre as its getting close to the limit.

Last Audi service was in 16/02/12 at 36,313 miles and was the long life service so it could do with a service with them just to keep it in the FASH bracket.

Before that was 18/08/10 at 23,555 miles and 03/12/08 at 13,022 miles

Had it on a rolling road and it was reading 350. Kinda in denial about that as it doesn't feel slow at all. My friends M5 was also reading 100BHP low that day too and I'm really in no doubt about the performance of either. Nothing indicating any vac leaks as the a/f ratio wasn't reading lean on the dyno either.

In all honesty it could maybe do with a decoke for piece of mind. I have also been planning to check for vacuum leaks to confirm the lack of them but due to work haven't been home too often.

Also have a set of plugs ready to go in once i'm home to do it.

Car has a remap but unfortunately I don't have any of that info. Do remember at the rolling road the guy mentioning that it definitely has a custom map on as the fuel ratio reading was pretty constant indicating a custom map in there. Just a pity that I don't have the paperwork.

Can't think of anything else that I could mention. If anyone else can think of anything to add that would be appreciated.

Quite fancy an E46 M3 so might be up for a P/X if anyone is interested. Can't bear the thought of going back to a boring everyday car.

Typo? Last stamp in the book was over 20,000 miles / over three years ago?

E46 will be an anti-climax, E92 is where you'd want to be coming from an RS4.

Oh yeah sorry didn't realise that. Ill remove the FSH. Almost FSH. Maths clearly not my strong point. Just under 20k miles. Realistically will need a service with Audi for piece of mind. Can adjust this into the price for any interested party.

I should have really picked that up myself when buying it as it was clearly not FSH when I got it either. I was too excited after the test drive when it came down to it.

^^^^ This for sure.. Great as the Std E46 M3 is.. It will be big a step down from the RS4.. You are probably aware of this but it won't do any harm to mention it.. Good luck with the sale lovely looking car you have there.

Thanks man. Haha yeah but its £10k cheaper! Its probably going to be a clio to be honest. That step down is gonna be a real shock to the system!

Clio 182? Bargain depreciation proof fast motoring! Early 197s are a lot of car for the money too, and a hell of a lot more modern to drive / looks / interior etc. But sadly no more reliable or cheaper to run than the 172/182

Yeah I think so. Cool, that makes me feel a bit better. Would maybe even go for a RS Cup. Or maybe an early Seat Cupra R. Something a bit sporty

In light of the service mistake I made, I have lowered the asking to £21,400. Plus a bit for a tyre that it probably needs. Other than that its pretty perfect.
I got in touch with Audi Glasgow and they quoted me £450 for a service and that would get the stamps back in order. Seems crazy for a few filters and an oil change that is pretty easy to do yourself but I know the service history is a good selling point for piece of mind.

I also have receipts to prove the servicing that I have done to it too.

reduced again to £21000 to account for decoke. I'm not sure it needs one but lowered the price for piece of mind
