Thanks Ian.

I finally managed to give the interior a proper clean so here are some photos;

The leather really is in good condition, as is the rest of the interior.

Car looks great!
Was the steering wheel done by the company in Aylesbury discussed in the group buys?

Thanks mate.

I'm not sure as I haven't seen the group buys but it was done by Royal Steering Wheels. He's done a good job on it and I'm more than happy.

Have you had yours done?

No not as yet .
I'm undecided which route to go , I would like to be able to control the radio volume / telephone etc from the wheel and I also like the flat bottomed look .I still have rnsd and I would want to change that to either rnse or an aftermarket system at the same time.
However a lot of the more modern wheels have really ugly airbag modules which look like someone designed the wheel to look great and afterwards they just stuck an airbag in the middle .

My car is having it's first( in my ownership) visit to MRC next month so I'm waiting until I get an idea of what needs doing in the near future before I spend it all my money on 'the trimmings'
If the FBSW route proves to be too expensive then a re trim like yours is on the cards.
I also find the wheel a bit thin so I guess it could be fattened up in a re trim .

Anyway didn't mean to hijack your selling thread hope the sale goes smoothly

No worries mate.

I think you need a different slip ring for the MFSW to work and I'm pretty sure it will cost a small fortune to do. I was looking at going down this route too as I also wanted the MFSW buttons.

The re-trim is a good happy medium with the increased girth. :bigblink:

Car will be on PH soon as it seems a little quiet around these parts.

Thanks , I'm not sure which route I'm going to go as yet. Don't you need to know which wheel your using before getting a slip ring ? Or are they universal for Audi's with FBSW's with buttons?

Seems to be a few new owners popping up on the forum you never know someone might want to treat themselves for Christmas!

Once again apologies for the thread hijacking

The screens could be Rosen! They do the headrests to match so you can keep the originals! Therefore, if you sell the car you can keep the entertainment system and put the original headrests back!

Beware of cheap imitations! You have been warned!

Fitted, £1,000 to £1200

I can point you towards a trusted installer if you wish but, he charges the £1200 range!
