Help please - Wanted RS4 Avant (B7) - private buyer - Kent

Hi all,

I am looking for a bit of help locating a good RS4. I am located in Kent and work in Milton Keynes so around those areas would be a bonus! Will travel for the right car though.

Absolute musts:
Flat bottom wheel
Bucket Seats
Avant
Low mileage (<55k)
Full history

Desired:
No sunroof
Carbon inlays
Ceramics
Black Optics

I am worried about hidden histories and mileage adjustments. Any tips to minimise risk of buying a lemon would be very gratefully received.

Thanks for that! Yeah defo a noob!!

I saw a couple advertised in Milton Keynes at ASM dealers and went to see them in the flesh. Out of 3 Avants they had only 1 that ticked enough boxes but I didn't feel confident about the establishment. I since read a comment from another RS246 member about the same place not being quite the ticket despite having some impressive kit.

I will take your advice and read up, just thought the post might invite potential sellers known to the forum to come forward with a loved example!

Colour - Grey, Black, possibly silver although for the right car I'd consider other colours. Budget not set, totally dependant on car.
