Somewhat of a long shot but thought I would put a thread up here as part of the start of the search.
After attending a show at Castle Combe last year and looking over a lot of fine example RS4's (& chatting to a few of the members here who were in attendance at the show) I have just sold my car with a look to hopefully buying a B7 RS4 Saloon.
Now I will start by mentioning I appreciate my budget isn't the 'ideal' for purchasing an RS4, however I can only but ask, if someone wants/needs to shift their car to someone who will very much love & look after/spoil it, then maybe i'm an option.
So, I have around £17,000-£18,000 to spend. The cash is in the bank waiting so no "im waiting to get the rest of it" business or "i need to sell my car first", "p/x?" etc. Having just sold my car I have heard just about every reason from people wanting to car but not having the money.
I can probably go a bit over if the car is perfect but thats about where im at.
The Car;
As I plan on keeping the car for the next 5 years at least, I am looking for a car with mid-millage, however I am keeping realistc about the millage because of my budget so am looking for cars in the 70k's or less millage wise. When I say 'or less' I am not expecting 'low millage'. I have been keeping an eye on RS4's across all the major sales sites the past month or so in order to try and ensure I have a little feel for the market & that I am not coming into the forum as a dreamer expecting the ideal low millage car for little money.
Colour, Not being super specific on colour, would probably have to be 1 of 3 chopices: Daytona Grey, Sprint Blue & Phantom? Black (Black).
I am already checking AutoTrader, Pistonheads, eBay, Gumtree etc as I say, this is just one of the other places I am keeping an eye out on just in case hense the reason for this thread.
