I had a B8 TDI Avant for two weeks and to me it felt even bigger than the numbers state, particularly forward of the driver.

The length of the B8 is now marginally less than the C5 RS6, although the wheelbase of the B8 is greater than the C5.

Verification would be appreciated in case I am using the wrong measurements.

Same with me but length wise. With the front touching the padded wall I have 15cm clearance between the rear of my B7 and the garage door when shut and that is 13cm longer. Squeeze!

R8 it is then.... :sekret:

Not so sure that the distance from the front wheels will make that much difference. Depends on whats there but from memory the B7 has alot of "styling" with not much substance. Wouldn't take a huge amount of frnt end redesign to change that without affecting the front end weight.
