Price released in the Netherlands - any UK figures?

Just looked on audi.nl - using RS3 as guide, equates to about £59k - spec unknown obviously!

If that figure is correct current exchange rates £89k

it doesnt work like that blacked

new cars in europe cost alot more as they have higher residuals and they can be sold in other countries ... try selling a RHD Audi in holland !

i think he was saying he compared the RS3 holland price to the RS4 holland price...and using the same ratio applied it to the RS3 UK to come up with an RS4 UK price of 59k pounds sterling.

Over here the RS5 was priced basically at B7 RS4 price levels. The RS4 should in theory be slightly cheaper than the RS5 (it's an Audi thing to have the 5 above the 4, ever so slightly).

Look at S5 3.0T pricing vs. S4 3.0T pricing. Slight premium.

So...what is a new RS5 priced at (base) in the UK?

c.£55k IIRC. which is probably to be the base price of the RS4 from what dealers and Geneva stand Audi people were hinting.

I think once you've added in a few of the 'must have' options, you'll be knocking on £65k

Lovely looking motor, but don't think they should have stuck with the 4.2. Should have had some turbo charging in there somewhere in my opinion.

I was speaking to an Audi salesman the other day and he had just taken a deposit on an RS4 which had been spec'd with everything - cost £82k!!!

Knew it was going to be pricey but was bit surprised by that total - am assuming it's got Audi exclusive paint/interior spec'd....

How has it been speccd when the price list as not yet been published?

Guy told me they have sold the 4 cars they have been allotted (main dealership) but obviously chances of him being full of it are quite high.... Personally not been keeping up on the details so didn't realise all the specs are final yet
