Help - Buyers Guide?

Hi,
sorry new to this forum as I am looking to buy a 2016 B8 RS4. I thought there might be a buyers guide here ie faults to look for etc but I couldn't find anything.
On most car forums there is some sort of sticky area with a guide. I am probably missing something.
Thanks if you can point me in the right direction.

Welcome aboard mate, not sure about a specific part of the forum dealing with individual components as such.
There are the usual comments and posts on the DRC, Intermediate and Final Drive assemblies, Brakes and what have you on here if you tab thru under the correct Model Year heading.
Might be an idea if you want to post up various questions, pretty sure the lads will give you their opinions and experiences and I'll chime in too if I can help.
Where are you located and what stage are you at for buying ?.. Matt is selling a very tidy B8.5 in Metallic Blue on here..
Cheers.
Stu..

Welcome to the forum! The big cost items are brakes and I think the issues that gets mentioned are fair amount is the gearbox and DRC but I don’t think it’s as widespread an issue as some may suggest. Regular servicing and good history is key for me.
Thanks Stu! Happy to answer any questions about my car that’s up for sale. Link to my car below:

No problem, a forum car is always my first choice, then Fontaine or similarly reputable outlet.
The previous owner of mine was a forum member, so I know it was cared for.

Thanks guys.
I’m actually out in in Dubai.
The DRC works. Gearbox was replaced under warranty 3 yrs ago to a B9 box.
Ceramic discs were skimmed a short while ago, not sure how long that gives them.
It’s 7 yrs old with 60k on the clock
