Hi people, first post here so a big hello from myself in the sunny UK 🇬🇧 I hope to be a good member and apart of this group.

We own a 2015 RS4 and just need to confirm a couple of service items if any one has the information?

1. The rear diff = uses x2 types of oil (ATF AND GEAR) - don't think I have any questions on this part as its fairly simple inc VCDS prime.

2. Gear box (s- tronic) = has x2 filters and the process again looks ok, I believe this gearbox has 2 chambers for the gearbox?

3. Front diff = is this the drain and plug on driver side (uk spec) and is this the 2nd chamber to change oil like above on number 2?

4. Does this car have a transfer case and does it have a separate oil storage to change?

All info much appreciated, just want ALL fluids done and just trying to confirm if there is 4 or 5 points of changing of oil.

Also I know the b7 suffers with carbon build-up etc, I take it the b8.5 suffers with this too?

Regards.

Hi mate,

Just fine this myself.

Rear diff - 2 fluids ATF and gear oil, renew sealing plugs, bleed with VCDS

Gear box - 2 fluids ATF and gear oil, atf inline filter and seal, remove sump, renew strainer filter, renew sump gasket, renew sump screws, renew drain and fill plugs. Follow refill and top up procedure.

That’s everything.

I’ll post fluid and part numbers when I’m home Image
