Does anyone know why no one supercharges the B8?

With so many supercharged B7s, I would have thought that companies will have supercharged the B8 by now?

Only difference is the gearbox so I guess it can’t handle the extra power like the manual in the B7? Having said that there is an S-tronic in the R8 and that has 600bhp as standard…

Not heard of any superchargers for the B8 but someone did shoe horn the RS6 C7 engine in to one think it was MRC

They offer 550, 580 and 600 hp.

There has been rumours around development by JHM in the US but nothing has ever come to fruition as far as I know.
