New to the group advice on rs4 b8

Hi everyone new to the group im looking at getting an rs4 b8.
Any advice on what to look out for only test drove a blue norado in stafford but body work wasnt the cleanest but went for a drive and quite fancy a rs4.
Thinking a white or seapang blue with panroof if anyone knows of one and advise on what to check

There are a few topics on here about regarded must haves and what to look out for.
The basic rules of common sense really apply - body condition, mileage / age relative to your budget, a good documented service history with important transmission fluids done relative to mileage, drc faults rectified, but you have bear in mind these cars are now at least 5 years old.
Good options are nice to have, although some are not really important except for enhancing resale appeal.
Look at as many as you can to get a feel for them, and the right one will stand out from the rest.
If you aren't happy with your own judgment in assessing vehicles, take someone with you who is. They see things that you may not - it's easy to overlook points with your desire to buy one.
Prices of good used examples are quite high at the moment however....

I guess you can only buy what’s available at the time... unless you are willing to wait for your perfect car.
Spec is good as it makes the ownership more fun.
Prices for nice ones are steady to increasing so don’t delay too long!

Hi. Just joined the group today. Have very similar questions to the one above. Am in the market for an rs4 with a budget of around £35k
I am based in Cumbria so there is nothing local.
Seen a few at an independent garage in Stafford. As they are not Audi specific the salesman could not tell if the cars had sports performance pack on. Is there away of finding out, via the vin number etc etc
Also one of the vehicles was in yellow, not everyone’s cup of tea but it’s up for £39 k! That seems very high don’t you think ?

Very good advice. Yes for sure check if the mileage is accurate, Its history (if mot’d regularly or if the vehicle has been in an accident) and its previous ownership to have an idea on the life it’s had then decide whether its worthy of purchase. There is
