Boot Liner and Mats. Where from?

Hi All,

New owner here after being a lurker for sometime. Just picked up a Daytona with lots of options after a long search. Also had two front new DRC shocks so I'm happy on that front :)

Given I have two small kids and a messy wife, I need a really good, pref Audi, boot liner and rubber mats? Anyone know sources? or should I just call the stealer?

Thanks

TPS (part of the VAG group) were always a good bet but with covid and their recent trade only policy probably means dealers I would think.
Worth it however!

I need to carry a lot of kit in mine, and fitted one of these, a Boot-Buddy versaliner, it's seems tough as old boots and was a perfect fit.

A lot of sites will try and sell you boot mats cut to size, but it's a hell of a lot cheaper to buy a roll of rubber mat, and trim it yourself. I ended up with so much rubber matting I didn't know what to do with it! This was my choice IIRC, I cut one piece to fit from the tailgate to the back of the rear seats and another piece to extend to the front seats when the rear seats are down.

I usually use the vehicle manufacturers own, as you know they will fit perfectly without the need for trimming, and the holes / retainer clips etc are in the correct place.
However, if they are cost prohibitive, I have used a company called Travall. Assuming they do your specific mats / boot liners, they are an excellent quality and very flexible rubber which in the case of a boot liner is preferable, as many are the hard plastic material and anything on them slides around the boot of the vehicle at the first corner. They are an excellent fit too.
I buy them direct from Travall - if you buy from Ebay, invariably they are more expensive buying from a 3rd party seller who has to put their mark up on top.

If you want genuine material mats, then the A4 ones will be 'sensibly' priced. However, if you want the genuine RS4 material mats with the RS4 logo stitched in, take a chair so that you are sat down when you get the cost.
Mine was fitted with them when new (dealer paid for them fortunately!), and the list price if spec'd with the vehicle was then a crazy £450...
If you have an RS4 brochure for the year of your car, the prices will be shown in that. They possibly may now have come down in price...

Got genuine rubber mats from a dealer on ebay.

Got this as couldn't find a gen audi one, and its extremely good against the Audi ones ive had before. Fit is good and it smells nice.

I can't find any Audi genuine carpet mats, anywhere. Nobody seems to have any stock! I only really want the plain front ones, so I suppose I'll have to phone the local Audi 'stealer unless anyone has come across some?

If you're after carpet mats I can't recommend auto style enough. I got some made for my B8 in the style Audi are currently supplying for new RS3, B9 RS4 etc just I added the RS logo in the rear. They were £77 delivered vs Audi charging £350+ for the new mats, visually they look OEM.

Oh those look fab - are they black or anthracite? And where did you get the logo from?

I actually found a photo of the mats in a TT RS from a thread on here I think and sent it into them to ask how to best replicate them as they'd done it before for someone else, so didn't send in a logo. They are the anthracite as autostyle recommend that over the black as the carpet inside is a dark grey rather than black. If I'm correct the stitching isn't an option on the website to had to do the order via email. If its any help to you my order reference number was AS017040, I'd think they would be able to pull my order up and replicate or adjust to how you wanted them.

Thanks pinger - I've dropped them an email to see if they will / can replicate. Is anyone else interested in a set? Might be worth a cheeky group buy ....

Quick update. Autostyle have archive all of their old orders - so they haven't got pingers anymore. So can't or won't replicate and they don't do discounts, so no "group buys" either. Boo hiss etc and back to square one unless I can find a logo or I decide I want plain!
